“Are you sure?”

I inched closer to him. He never once moved, and when I was a mere breath from him, I craned my head to look at his face and said, “I’m very sure.”

His Adam’s apple bounced as he swallowed, and I reached forward to take his hand.

This time he followed me without question. He had an en suite and the moment I switched on the light, I couldn’t hold back my laughter.

“For someone who doesn’t like baths, you have a heck of a tub.”

He snorted. “Jacuzzi tub. I may hate baths, but some days my muscles are sore and this helps.” He motioned to the big standing shower. “That’s more my speed on the daily.”

“Have a seat. I’ll get the tub going.”

It was a beautiful bathroom, one that reminded me of the luxury I had from home. His house wasn’t extravagant but it was a good size, two floors. There was a lot of care and love in this house, and it showed with each room I went into.

“Do you have bubble bath?”

He sniggered. “No, only thing I have is Epsom salts. I use it on days I’m hurting.”

I lifted one shoulder. “That’s fine, we don’t need anything.”

The water was the perfect temperature, so I pushed in the plug.

“Time to strip, Fireman.” My eyes widened. “Oh, that was forward.”

“Wait.” He grabbed my wrist when I made to leave. “Please stay.”

“Are you sure?”

He chuckled and with one hand unsnapped his suspenders and unbuttoned his pants. “Very sure.”

“Sugar plum fairies,” I whispered as he lowered his zipper.

“Thought fairies weren’t real?” His voice was raspier, his eyes darker.

“Yeah, no fairies…none, can I help you?”

The side of his mouth kicked up. “With only one good arm, this would go faster if you did.”

I eyed the tub; it was almost half-full, so I had a minute or two. I moved closer and placed my hands on his waistband.

I knew he was going to be beautiful under all these clothes, heck, he was stunning already.

Slowly, I pulled down his pants and when I was on my knees, face-to-face with a very impressive bulge, my whole body shivered.

“Well, ding, dang, dong.”

He cracked up so loudly that I jumped. His eyes sparkled with so much joy, I joined in with my own laughter.

I got up fast and shut off the water before returning to him.

“You sure you can handle taking off my briefs? I mean, you almost swore a second ago.” He quirked a brow, and I met it with narrowed eyes.

“I will be totally professional.” I slipped my thumbs under the waistband of his briefs and was about to drag them off when he spoke.

“I hope you won’t be even a tiny bit professional, Finch.”

Well, happy hickory trees, this man was going to kill me. I closed my eyes as I pushed his briefs down, not trusting myself to not stop once his dick was exposed.
