He moaned as I worked his groin muscles with my thumbs while ignoring his cock. I slipped my right hand down to his taint and hole, while my left held his massive cock out of the way.

I watched his breathing change and his eight-pack of abdominal muscles flex every time I grazed his hole.

“Do it,” he panted as his head rolled on the tile.

I released his balls and took his cock into my mouth while simultaneously impaling him on my finger. We were both vers, but if he had his choice, Patrick Griffin preferred to bottom over topping. But every once in a while, when he had adrenaline still circulating after a game, the tables turned. Like in San Francisco.

Sucking him down, I rubbed his prostate and was rewarded with a massive release in my mouth. I rubbed his gland and sucked on him until he couldn’t take it anymore.

“Get up here,” he panted.

I got to my feet, and Patrick took my dick in his hand. Urging me forward, he swallowed me down and hummed around my shaft.

“Fuck, babe,” I moaned as he continued to swallow me.

It had been over three weeks since I’d last jerked off, and I blew embarrassingly quickly. But it was probably for the best. I needed to wash us up and get us into bed. We were both exhausted and needed sleep.

Leaning down, I kissed him. Patrick had always loved this, and I was happy to give it to him.

After quickly washing us both, we got out, and I dried him off. With my towel hung around my waist to catch the water, I walked him back to our bed. I pulled the covers back, and he got in.

“Hurry,” he said, gently turning onto his side.

I leaned down and kissed him. “I’ll only be a minute.”

He nodded, his eyes already closed.

I finished drying off and brushed my teeth. Padding back to bed, I looked down at my sleeping man.

Pushing the guilt aside, I told myself I was doing the same thing I did in the hospital. I was here in case he needed me.

I’d worry about the guilt tomorrow. Right now, I just needed to sleep.

CHAPTER 14

PATRICK

The morning sun filtered through the blinds and draperies in our bedroom, alerting me to the time. This side of our house faced east, allowing the morning sun to shine through. We were inching toward the summer, and I wanted to be able to enjoy it with Cole.

But there were little gaps in my memory and my body was still not cooperating. My hand-eye coordination was still off when I was tired and I didn’t know what the fuck to do about it. I guess I needed physical therapy more than I thought. Not to mention my arm would probably have to be rehabbed.

How the fuck had all this happened?

Cole stirred, then opened his eyes to look at me. His light blue irises changed colors depending on his mood. And right now, they were a crystal-clear blue.

“Why are you staring at me?”

I gazed at the love of my life as he reached out to run his roughened fingers over my stubbled jaw. His palm settled against my face as his thumb moved back and forth over my lips. Pursing them, I placed a soft kiss on the pad before answering him.

“I was thinking about how your eyes change between different shades of blue.”

Cole kept his eyes on mine as his mouth drew up into the smile I loved. It never failed to make my heart skip a beat. Always had.

“Really? I didn’t know that.”

“That’s because you don’t look at yourself the way I look at you. You’re perfect for me.”

I lifted my right hand to bring it to his face, but couldn’t quite get it there. While it was improving, it was still frustrating. Cole read my frustration and reached up to bring it to his face. The countless little things he did for me deepened my love for him every day, if it were possible.
