“That is not usually a good thing,” she said. Bassem smiled.
“Don’t worry, it’ll be good. I just think you need to know everything about me before we move forward.” He leaned closer to her and kissed her lips again.
Blake watched Bassem walking into the elevator. Her heart was beating fast. She touched her red cheeks. He made her so shy. But what did he mean when he said going forward? What was forward? He needed to be clear. Were they going to have a professional relationship or did he want to be her boyfriend? And what was it that he wanted to tell her? What did she need to know?

The next day, Aunt Moira helped Blake find something to wear for her date with Bassem. “You want to look sexy and sophisticated,” she said to Blake.
“What about these trousers?” she asked her aunt.
“You can’t wear trousers on a date with a sheikh.”
Blake shrugged her shoulders. CJ and her mother burst into laughter. “Seriously Blake,” said CJ as she shook her head.
“I’ve been with a rich man before.” said Aunt Moira. “Trust me on this.” She pulled out a royal blue dress with a boat neck from the closet.
“That is a gorgeous dress,” said Blake’s mother. Blake went into the bathroom and put on the dress.
“Wow Blake,” CJ said as she walked back into the room. The dress hugged her curves and complemented her figure.
“I have some pearls to go with the dress,” said Aunt Moira. She fished some out of her bag and put them on Blake.
“You walk around with a pearl necklace in your bag?” Blake asked her.
“I am always prepared.”
They all burst into laughter. Blake finished off her outfit with a pair of high heels. She left her hair untied, then put on red lipstick. Just when Blake sprayed on some perfume, the doorbell sounded.
“I will see you all later,” she said to them and rushed for the door. She opened the door, and there was her Adonis. Bassem stood at the door. He looked at Blake slowly from head to toe.
“You look gorgeous,” he said to her.
“I’m glad you think so.” Blake smiled. She tried to play it cool but inside she was melting.
