“It’s new.” She clasped her hands together. That pose deepened the valley between her breasts.

“It’s pink.” The taller male ogled her chest.

“I like pink.” She giggled. “And I like garments. Though the straps on this one tend to slip.”

She let one of them fall. That not-so-casual action completely exposed her right breast.

The males sucked in their breaths.

A dark blur streaked through the doors behind them.

Her cyborg was inside the structure. And no alarms had sounded.

Some of the tension eased from Roshini’s form. He had breached the first level of security.

The lifeform-scan-concealing cloak must’ve worked.

“Oopsie.” She fixed her strap, covering her breast once more. “I have to keep the nippies out of the sun.” She leaned toward the males. “They’re very sensitive.”

The Invaders gaped at her.

The sight of her chest seemed to have struck them speechless.

She did have great breasts.

“I’ll let you know if Gacy likes my outfit, boys.” She sauntered toward the entrance. “Maybe you can help me with my straps then.”

“We’ll see you, all of you, much sooner.” The short male sniggered.

She didn’t know what that meant. But they didn’t attempt to stop her.

Roshini entered the structure. The space was dimly lit. There would be plenty of shadows for Drift to hide in.

And there weren’t many beings around the site to spot him.

All the Invaders seemed to be gathered in the closed-off and shielded beverage station. There was a wall-sized viewing portal.

But they were laughing and chattering and paying no attention to anything.

Luam was situated at the first manufacturing position. He met her gaze for a heartbeat.

Everything was proceeding according to plan, that look said.

His friend returned his attention to the weapon panels he was fusing together. A tool was set by his section of the machine.

Luam’s hands were steady. His expression was serene.

Her friend was ready.

Roshini maintained her vapid smile.

She had to be ready also.

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

All of his female’s enemies would die.

Drift glared from a shadowed alcove inside the Humanoid Alliance’s manufactured mountain.
