Jace chuckled. “Oh, baby. I don’t even know if there is such a thing as normal anymore. Everyone has their different life circumstances that mold them into the person they are, and in my opinion, you’ve been molded into a pretty special little girl. Our little girl. And when you’re ready to talk about your life, we’re ready to listen. We want to know all of you, baby.”

She smiled as tears fell down her cheeks again. “You always say such sweet things to me.”

“I always mean the things I say to you, baby. Always. So does Zane.”

Lifting her arms up, she looped them over his shoulders and sighed happily as he wrapped his strong arms around her, squeezing her against him.

“Shall we go see your nursery, baby girl? I think you need some play time.”

She nodded but didn’t let go of him. When he lifted her up, she instantly wrapped her legs around his waist. It was so damn sexy that both the men could carry her without even breaking a sweat.

Zane was coming up the stairs at the same time they left the bedroom. Smiling at her Zaddy, she nibbled on her lip shyly when he winked and smiled back.

“Brought some num-nums for my baby girl,” Zane said.

She loved seeing him so relaxed. Definitely a difference from the first time she’d met him.

“Ready to see your room?” Jace asked.

Nodding her head, Ruby lifted her head from his shoulder and bounced excitedly in his arms.

“We can change anything you want in here so if you don’t like something, we don’t have to keep it,” Zane said as he opened the door for them to go through.

Her mouth dropped open as she took in the large space. It wasn’t as big as the playroom at the club, but it was bigger than her bedroom in her penthouse apartment. Toys, stuffed animals, and books were placed everywhere in strategic areas of the room. The furnishings were all a gorgeous white wood with intricate designs carved in, making each piece totally unique.

“This is the prettiest room I’ve ever seen,” she said.

Both men smiled and when she started wiggling in Jace’s arms to get down, he chuckled and let her slide down to her feet.

The carpet was so thick and plush it felt like pillows beneath her toes. Spinning around slowly, she studied everything she could see, trying not to cry. She had a playroom in her apartment, but it was pitiful compared to this room.

The walls were painted a very light pink color and besides several white shelves that hung on the walls holding cute little decorations, there were butterfly decals that made it look like they were flying around the room.

Tears filled her eyes, and she couldn’t stop them from falling down her cheeks as she looked up at the men who were standing beside her looking down at her nervously.

As soon as Zane saw her crying, he knelt down so he was eye level with her, wrapping his arm around her waist.

“What’s wrong, baby?” he asked.

“You guys just surprise me so much. I know you didn’t decorate this room for me but it’s just so perfect. It’s exactly how I would want it if I had chosen everything,” she cried, turning toward him and latching herself around his neck.

Wrapping his arms around her, Zane lifted her and walked over to the oversized white wooden rocking chair and sat down with her on his lap. Reaching out, he gently wiped her tears away.

“Baby, we’ve been looking for you for so long. You have no idea how excited we are to have you be ours,” Zane said.

Jace walked over and sat on the edge of the twin-sized bed next to the rocking chair. When he reached out to stroke her arm, she latched her hand around one of his fingers and held it tightly as she cuddled against Zane’s chest. She needed to touch both of them so she had the courage to ask her next question.

“You guys really, truly want me? No one’s ever really wanted me before.”

ZANE

Looking over her head at Jace, he felt like his heart was cracking in half. Their sweet little Ruby sounded so shocked and uncertain that they wanted her. If only she knew how much they’d been hoping to find the right Little for them.

“Yes, baby girl. We really, truly want you. You’re it for us. Unless you decide you don’t want us or you tell us you’re secretly married or something, we aren’t letting you go,” Zane told her.

She looked at him and then at Jace before lowering her eyes to her lap.
