“Oh my God. That’s really weird,” she replied. “As per my understanding, only people who commit some crime behave like that.”
She tried to think, and then suddenly, a vague picture formed in her mind.
“Cindy was Kunal’s ex, am I correct?”

“And they broke up because of Ranveer, and then Cindy used Adira to hurt Ranveer by targeting Maya.”
“Yes, Aisha. We all know that by now. But what do you want to imply?”
“I don’t know. I feel Kunal is involved in Cindy’s murder.”

“You want to say my stepbrother is a murderer?”
“Dhruv,” she sighed. “You cannot trust anyone. Especially Maliks. They can do anything to keep their secrets hidden.”

“Okay, whose nail marks were those then? And you said they looked very fresh.”

“Impossible,” she clarified. “He is not dating anyone. I know.”

“That’s because I keep a file on Maliks still.”

“Dhruv, I worked for Ranveer. And Kunal Malik and your father were in the red list for Maya. So, I always had to keep an eye on their activities. I didn’t find Kunal dating any woman from the past few months.”
Dhruv was speechless.
“I think we should check his room. If my suspicion is right, then we will get the clue there.”
“But if Bhai comes back?”
“You keep an eye on him. I will get in his room.”
“No ways, Aisha. I won’t let you do this alone.”
“Don’t worry. I am trained for these kinds of missions. He won’t even know someone searched his room,” she headed to the window.
“Where are you going? The door is here,” he interrupted.
She laughed.
“This is a secret mission, Dhruv. We don’t want anyone else to know about it. I will get in his room from the window.”
