Ren grips my shoulder, grinning fiercely. “Alway for you, bookworm.”

Dante chuckles. “I hope you’re ready for some real loving later after what we just went through.”

Camila’s laughter chases away the dark shadows that have lingered for so long. Bathed in light, we stand together, finally free to live and love as we choose. The future is ours for the taking, and we’ll face it side by side.

Vincenzo Costa, Dante’s Dad, strides into the room. He doesn’t look pleased as his eyes dart between Camila and the three of us. His gaze lingers on her.

“What’s going on here?” he demands.

Dante clears his throat. “Father, we’ve got some news. Amerigo is in prison.”

Vincenzo’s face pales, and he sinks into a chair. “What happened?”

Elio leans forward, his expression serious. “He lied to us. He was stealing from the Aguilar Cartel and trying to cut them out. We had to stop him.”

Vincenzo nods slowly, his eyes distant. “I see. And what about the family business?”

I speak up, my voice steady. “We need you to keep an eye on things with our father gone. Keep everything running until Elio finishes school next year.”

Vincenzo looks at each of us, his gaze lingering on Camila. “And the girl? What’s her role in all this?”

I pull Camila closer, my arm tightening around her waist. “She’s with us.”

Vincenzo raises an eyebrow. “With us?”

It may not be normal for guys to share one girl, but it’s the most natural thing I’ve ever known. “Yeah, we share her. We’re in a relationship with her. All three of us.”

Camila’s cheeks redden. “Not exactly sure how that’s going to work.”

I glance at Camila, a smirk spreading across my face. “Don’t be coy, bookworm,” I say, my voice dripping with amusement. “You’ve already experienced firsthand how this works.”

I can see the embarrassment creep across her cheeks as I call her out in front of Dante’s father. Vincenzo’s eyebrows raise slightly. “Is that so?” he says, his gaze shifting between us.

I lean back in my chair, feeling a thrill at the discomfort I’ve caused Camila. “Oh, yes. We have become quite close with the Aguilar princess here.” I gently squeeze Camila’s thigh, relishing how she squirms.

Dante clears his throat, shooting me a warning look. “Renzo, perhaps we should discuss this privately?—”

“Nonsense,” I interrupt, waving a dismissive hand. “The old man deserves to know the truth, don’t you think?” I turn my gaze back to Vincenzo. “After all, he’ll oversee the family business while we finish our studies.”

Vincenzo’s expression remains neutral, but I can see the wheels turning in his head. “I see,” he says simply.

Camila shifts uncomfortably in her seat, her eyes downcast. I can tell she’s mortified, but I can’t resist pushing her further. “Come now, bookworm,” I murmur, leaning in close. “Don’t be shy. Tell Dante’s dad about what we’ve done to you.”

Elio slams his hand down on the table. “Enough, Ren. That’s between us four. And you’ll do well to learn that if you want things to work out.” He glances at Vincenzo. “Can you help keep everything in line until I return from school?”

He turns his attention to Elio, his expression growing serious. “You’re the heir now, Elio. With your father in prison, the future of the Barone Mafia rests on your shoulders.”

Elio nods. “I understand. And I’ll need your help to keep things running smoothly until I finish school.”

Vincenzo inclines his head. “Of course. You have my word that I’ll serve you as faithfully as I served your father. You’re the rightful king of our empire now.”

A slow smile spreads across my face as I listen to the exchange. Our future looks brighter with Dad out of the picture and Elio at the helm. And with our sweet Camila, bound to us through our twisted desires, there’s no limit to the heights we can reach.

I lean back in my chair, draping an arm around Camila’s shoulders, and shoot a wolfish grin at Vincenzo. “Long live the king,” I murmur.
