“What?” Hayes asked, placing himself right next to him and grabbing some silverware.

“I don’t know, I kinda…liked…you know.”

“What happened the other day?” Hayes asked.

TK smiled. “Yeah. It was really hot.” He looked over at his teammate. “Especially kissing you. I’ve never…kissed a guy like that before. And I liked it.”

“Let Katy Perry know. Maybe she’ll write a song about it,” Hayes joked, but TK didn’t smile. “Well, you should definitely kiss some other guys then, too.”

TK didn’t say anything, just kept working to dry the rest of the dishes.

“Hey,” Hayes said softly, placing his hand on TK’s shoulder.

“What?” he pouted.

Hayes looked toward the living room to make sure Ryan wasn’t coming. “You down to maybe fuck around with both of us?”

TK scoffed, moving away from Hayes’s grip. “Yeah, OK. Now you’re just flat out messing with me.”

“I…no, I’m not. Dude.” Hayes turned toward the living room again, then lowered his voice even softer. “Rook wants you.”

He thought about what happened on the balcony right before Hayes had knocked on the door, but determined it was probably just him misinterpreting the situation. “Right.”

“We’ve literally gotten each other off thinkin’ about you before. All his idea. Why do you…why do you think you’re here?”

TK made a face. “You’re serious right now?”

“Deadass.”

“But pretty boy hates me, Ty.”

“No, he doesn’t. He’s…fuckin’ jealous of you and insanely attracted to you. Trust me. If you’re down…” Hayes shrugged. “It would just be, you know, sex. Nothin’ more.”

Hayes wasn’t sure if he was saying it to convince TK or himself.

“Fuck it. I’m down,” TK finally said, leaning against the countertop on one arm and staring at Hayes. “Just sex though. Nothing more. Right?”

Hayes hesitated, then nodded.

“Be a shame if you went and fell in love with me, baby.” TK bit his bottom lip as Hayes stared at him. “I have one condition,” TK said, slowly stepping toward Hayes, placing a hand on the countertop to either side of him, and leaning into his face.

“What’s…that?” Hayes panted, their lips barely brushing against each other.

“I wanna be roughed up, baby,” TK whispered against Hayes’s mouth before pulling his face back. “I’m kinda…into the rough stuff.”

“Well,” Hayes sighed, thinking about how much he’d loved it when Ryan had spit on him and choked him in the back of Mar’s Wagoneer. “You’ve, uh, definitely come to the right place. Me and Rook? We can get a little…”

Ryan’s footsteps coming down the hall caused them to break apart from each other and busy themselves just as he came into the kitchen. “Just making sure you’re alive in here,” he said. “Heard the thud and then silence. You guys good?”

“Yeah, fine,” they answered simultaneously.

“Great?” Ryan said suspiciously, glancing at the time on the microwave clock.

8:17 p.m.

“Wanna, um, start a movie in a few minutes?” he asked, winking at Hayes.

“Sounds good to me, Rook.” Hayes replied immediately.
