I was still pissed that he even talked to that bitch, so I was not about to let him off the hook that easily. I’ve been dealing with bitches all my life; I know how to play this game to win. “What kind of car does she drive?”

“I don’t know, I know she likes Range Rovers, it’s her dream car. Why?”

“Color?”

“If I remember correctly, white with black interior. Why are you asking me this?”

“That’s too cheap, G-Wagon, white with black interior and vanity plates. That’s the price you pay for offending me on my honeymoon.” His lips twitched and I was beginning to think that I had been too easy on him. “What’re you smiling about?”

He scrolled through his phone, “I’ve already ordered you one. The only thing is the interior is midnight blue, not black. Should I have them change it?”

“How did you know…? Never mind, you piece of shit.”

He had a picture of my dream car on the screen and there was some back and forth with the dealer that I didn’t bother to read because why would I? I wasn’t paying for it. “What should your vanity plates say?”

“What do you think it should say?”

“Hmm, let me think. Wifey? #1Girl? MINE?”

“You pick!” If he thinks his car is going to save her ass, he’s got another thing coming. How are men this damn blind?

Her whole conversation is all about me not being one of them. Is he sure I’ll fit in with their crowd? Why the hell would I want to do that stupid? If he wanted one of your crowd, he wouldn’t be here slumming with me.

I don’t mind her being a pick me, but when she starts making assumptions about me and implying that I am the very thing I hate, that’s where I draw the line. Now I have to decide if I want to destroy her kid’s whole life by telling her husband. Then again, she’s the one doing that shit, not me.

“How often do you see this Natalie person?”

“Often enough, I guess. Like I said, we’re part of the same circles, only I don’t do much socializing these days so it’s not as often as it used to be. Her husband is always with her, by the way.”

“I’m sure he was somewhere in the vicinity when she was texting you that shit, just as I was. You know what? This shit is pissing me off all over again. The disrespect. On second thought, I’ll deal with her myself.”

“Oh, for… what now?”

“I know her type. I’ll just steal all her friends and make her look stupid. Wait, you’re richer than her husband, right?”

“By a lot, yes. I don’t like that look.” I just snorted and went to finish getting ready for bed.

“I take it you’re not leaving.”

“Don’t push it, buddy. I’ll take your plane and leave you stranded here for who knows how long. Then you’ll have to wonder what surprises will be awaiting you when you get back home. Don’t roll your eyes at me. I have access to lots of money and your team. You’ll be wise to ask yourself if the brakes on your car are going to work.”

Good, that ought to keep your ass up at night. He stood there watching me as if he was trying to figure me out or whether or not I was serious. Human beings are some strange characters.

He’s just seen me spend an entire weekend carrying out plots of vengeance, but somehow, he’s still questioning if I would do it to him. It’s the ‘not me’ shit they all suffer from. Oh, this won’t happen to me. Bet!

Iwas still a bit peeved about the whole Natalie situation to the point that I almost rubbed the skin off my face as I went through my nightly routine. “Asshole jerk and his bitch ex come to disrupt my life,” I mumbled the words, but what I didn’t know was that the burr up my butt was standing in the doorway watching me moisturize.

“Is that any way to talk about your husband?” I almost jumped out of my skin at the unexpected sound of his voice and looked at him through the mirror. He was just lounging there with his arms and legs crossed like he had no fucks to give.

I must not be doing my job right if he’s this relaxed. “And why are you being so aggressive with your face?” He walked into the room and came up behind me to wrap his arms around my middle from behind.

Now, why the hell did that give me butterflies? And why did I have to fight so hard to resist leaning back into him? Either I’m getting soft, or he’s found a way to come in under my guard.

I elbowed him to get him the hell away from me, and he just laughed and bit my ear. Well, now, since he’s here… “Do me!”

“Yes, ma’am.” I expected him to at least lift me onto the sink or something, but no, he just leaned me forward, pulled my cute little sleep shorts down, spread my legs, and slid into me.
