“If I was a betting woman, I’d stake a lot of money on it.” I step away to admire him. He looks so damn fine in his black suit and thin purple tie.

Josh is earning fifteen grand for tonight. Fifteen whole fucking grand. That’s how hardcore his game is going to be. I just wish I was a fly on the wall so I could see it in person.

Josh, two silver foxes, triple dick action, and a rough fist in the ass on top. A far tastier recipe than my chicken casserole earlier.

“How are you going to entertain yourself while I’m out?” he asks. “Please don’t pace around the place like I did, waiting for news. Chill out with some TV and chocolate. Enjoy yourself.”

“I might have some chocolate, yeah. Maybe some hot vampire episodes on loop. Who knows, maybe I’ll do some more kettle bell swings.” I look up at him with a grin. “Or, much more likely, I might grab a pizza from Bri, stuff my face and play with myself a few times at the thought of you getting back home…”

He points a finger. “Stuff your sweet face all you like, but no stuffing pussy, please. I want you in pure untouched glory when I come back.”

I fake pout. “Spoilsport.”

“You can call me a selfish spoilsport. Save those orgasms for me.”

We share a moment, smiling at each other, and I don’t want to break eye contact, he’s so fucking beautiful. I’m envious of the two guys who’ll be taking him tonight.

“Actually, I’m going to be calling my parents,” I tell him. “I arranged it with Mum earlier. It’s time I had a decent video chat with them. I’ve been messaging them a lot with chitter chatter, but with Richard being an asshole, I didn’t want to get upset onscreen, or get grilled by too many questions.”

“Have you told them how the piece of shit took your place off you?”

“No. I didn’t want to share the news until I’d found a replacement. I’d sent them all the pictures of the apartment and everything. They were so excited. Just like me.”

Josh’s eyes look like emeralds. Intoxicating.

“And are you going to fill them in now?”

“On how I’ve moved in with my brand-new boyfriend permanently, already?” I get a fresh round of butterflies. “I couldn’t leave it unsaid if I tried. I’m way too happy to hide it. I want them to know just how brilliant you are and how magnificent your place is and how amazing you are for suggesting I move in. They’ll love you, just like I do. I just know it. Just as soon as they meet you, they’ll be crazy about you.”

He grins at that. “Maybe they’ll hop their butts right on a plane and head over? I’d love to meet them.”

“Maybe.”

I’d been planning on booking my parents a flight as a surprise once I’d moved into my own place, so the thought gives me another burst of happiness. I’d love to have them over here, and I’d adore it if they got to hang out with Josh and see how different my life is now. I’d love them to meet Tiff and Ebony too, and I’d like to take them out to the luxurious Mulberry restaurant, oh, and show off my new chicken casserole skills. Hmm. Maybe I should introduce them to my chicken casserole before the wonder of the Mulberry… it would hardly be so impressive as a follow up.

However, there is just one major concern lurking in the shadows, ready to strike. I’d love Mum and Dad to stay in Belgravia with me more than anything, but what if they run into Richard Jacobs in the elevator? Holy fuck, how would that pan out?

At least my dad would deck him flat out if he tried to proposition my mother. He’d be a red-faced beast on a rampage.

But then he wouldn’t exactly be all that impressed if he knew why Richard was assuming Mum was for hire…

I get a shiver at the very thought.

“I’d better be off, baby,” Josh says. “I’ll let you know when I’m on my way back.”

I kiss him goodbye, and wave him off with a have fun, yet again like it’s the most normal thing in the world.

Don’t forget your packed lunch, dear. And have fun sharing cocks, fists, and assholes!

I’m still grinning as I grab myself a coffee, then settle myself down on the sofa for the evening. I hit the call button for Mum and Dad, a huge smile on my face as I see them appear onscreen. The Australian sun is shining bright in the background, and I miss being there, hanging out with them by the pool, doing cannonballs with Dad. I miss them so much, it hurts.

“Ella!” Mum says. “It’s so good to see you. It feels like ages since you left, sweetheart. Feels like years.”

“Yeah, it does,” I agree. “It really does feel like years.”

“Are you settled in your new place yet?” Dad asks, then seems to scope out my background. “Wait, that isn’t your new place, is it? What’s with the crazy green?”

I laugh when I look behind to find I’m propped up by two of Josh’s wacky cushions. Neon green and purple brocade.
