“You need to talk to them, Ava,” Maria says, sounding exasperated. “You deserve a serious, committed relationship. Not this, whatever it is.”

“I know,” I say, trying to reassure her. “And we will talk about it. I promise.”

“If you say so,” she says, not sounding entirely convinced.

“I do,” I say, feeling more confident now that I’ve said it out loud. “I’m going to talk to them, and we’re going to figure this out. Together.”

“Just be careful, okay?” Maria says, her voice softening. “I don’t want to see you get hurt.”

“I will,” I promise. “And thank you for listening and for being there for me. I love you, sis.”

“I love you too,” Maria says. “And I’m always here for you, no matter what.”

We say our goodbyes and I hang up the phone, feeling a little lighter than before. Talking to Maria has helped, has given me the courage I need to take the next step.

I gather my things and head out of the office, my heart pounding in my chest as I make my way to the elevator. I’m not sure what the future holds, but I know I can’t keep living in this limbo, this in-between place of uncertainty and fear.

I have to take a chance, to put my heart on the line and see where it leads me. And as the elevator doors close behind me, I feel a sense of determination washing over me.

I’m ready. Ready to face my feelings, to tell these men how much they mean to me. Ready to take a leap of faith and see where it takes me.

And no matter what happens, I know I’ll always have the memories of this incredible, life-changing month. The memories of the way they made me feel, the way they touched my heart and soul.

Alex

I’m up and showered early, eagerly awaiting Ava and the guys’ arrival for our breakfast plans. The morning sun streams through the windows, casting a warm glow over the room. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air, and I can’t help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me.

I’m sipping my coffee, savoring the rich, bold flavor, when the doorbell rings. My heart skips a beat, knowing it might be Ava on the other side. I take a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves, and go to answer it.

As I open the door, Ava stands before me, looking radiant as ever. Her long, dark hair cascades over her shoulders in soft waves, and her eyes sparkle with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. She’s wearing a simple white t-shirt and jeans that hug her curves in all the right places, and she looks absolutely stunning.

“Good morning, gorgeous,” I greet her, pulling her in for a kiss and a hug. Her lips are soft and warm against mine, and I can feel the heat of her body as she presses against me.

She melts into my embrace, resting her head on my chest. “Good morning,” she murmurs, her voice soft and sweet.

We stand there for a moment, enjoying our closeness. She smells so good, of vanilla and lavender, and feels so fucking amazing in my arms. I don’t ever want to let her go.

“Come in, come in,” I say, finally pulling away. “I made coffee.”

“Sounds great,” she replies, her smile lighting up her face.

As I lead her into the kitchen, I can’t help but admire the sway of her hips in her jeans, and the curve of that ass… She’s a vision, and we’re so fucking lucky to have her.

“So, what’s up?” I ask, handing her a cup of coffee. The warmth of the mug feels good in my hands, and I can see the steam rising from the surface.

She takes a deep breath, seeming to gather her courage. “Alex, I…”

Before she can continue, there’s a commotion at the door.

I grin at her, “It’s Ethan and Liam. Hold that thought.”

I open the door and greet them. The cool morning air rushes in, and I can feel the excitement buzzing between us.

Ethan first walks in. “Sup, buddy? Ready for breakfast?” He raises a large bag from a fancy French bakery, the scent of freshly baked pastries wafting through the air.

“You bet,” I reply, my mouth watering at the thought of buttery croissants and flaky pain au chocolat.

Liam follows, his tall frame filling the doorway. “Morning, man. Good to see you,” he says.
