I let out a frustrated sigh, knowing that Amy wouldn’t let up until she got some information out of me. “Fine,” I relent, rolling my eyes. “We’re going out for dinner, okay? Now, can you please give me some space to get ready?”

Amy’s grin widens triumphantly as she rises from the couch. “Dinner, huh? Sounds so… normal,” she remarks, her tone dripping with amusement. “Well, have fun on your date, big brother. And don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!”

I watch her saunter out of the room with a shake of my head. Then, I turn my attention back to getting ready for my evening with Jessy.

I stand at Jessy’s door, my heart pounding with anticipation as I wait for her to answer. When she finally opens the door, I’m momentarily rendered speechless by how stunning she looks in a simple red dress accentuating every curve.

“Wow,” I breathe, unable to tear my gaze away from her. “You look absolutely beautiful, Jessy.”

A blush creeps up her cheeks, and she gives me a shy smile. “Thanks, Ethan,” she murmurs, her voice barely above a whisper.

I offer her my arm, feeling a surge of pride as she links hers with mine. “Shall we?” I ask, gesturing towards the car parked in the driveway.

She nods, her smile widening, and together we make our way to the car. As I hold the door open for her, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement coursing through my veins.

“Where are we going?” Jessy asks, a curious gleam in her eyes as she glances around the car.

I flash her a playful grin. “Ah, that’s a surprise,” I reply, tapping my finger against the steering wheel. “But trust me, you’re going to love it.”

She raises an eyebrow, but her voice has a hint of excitement as she leans back in her seat. “I’ll take your word for it,” she says with a chuckle.

As we drive, I steal glances at her, taking in the way the sunlight filters through her hair, casting a warm glow over her features. She looks breathtaking in that simple red dress, and I can’t help myself as I continue to steal glances at her.

“Wow, this place is amazing,” Jessy exclaims as we step into the sip and paint studio. Her eyes sparkle with excitement, and I can’t help but smile.

“I’m so glad you’re excited,” I reply, feeling a surge of satisfaction knowing that I could make this happen for her.

We find our seats, armed with brushes and palettes, ready to unleash our inner artists. Sitting beside her, I feel a sense of closeness between us.

As we start painting our trees, the conversation flows effortlessly between us. We chat about everything from our favorite colors to our wildest dreams, sipping on our drinks and enjoying each other’s company.

I steal glances at her as she focuses on her painting, her concentration evident in the furrow of her brow. There’s something about her in this moment that captivates me, something so genuine and alluring that I can’t help but be drawn to her even more.

After our laughter-filled painting adventure, I suggest we head over to this quaint little Italian bistro I know. It’s got this cozy atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxed dinner, plus their pasta dishes are to die for.

As we step into the restaurant, the aroma of freshly baked bread and simmering marinara sauce hits me, making my mouth water in anticipation. Jessy’s eyes light up at the sight of the menu.

“I’m excited about the prospect of indulging in some delicious Italian cuisine,” she says with excitement.

“So am I. How about we start with some bruschetta and a bottle of red wine?” I suggest, and Jessy nods enthusiastically.

“Yeah, sure. This place looks amazing,” she says, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

“Yeah, it’s one of my favorites,” I reply, feeling a sense of pride in introducing her to this hidden gem. “Their pasta dishes are incredible.”

Jessy nods, her gaze lingering on the menu. “I’ve been craving Italian for ages,” she admits. “I can’t wait to try everything.”

“It’s a good thing that I brought you here then.”

She chuckles, raising her glass in a toast. “To good food and even better company,” she says, her eyes meeting mine over the rim of her glass.

“To good food and even better company,” I echo, clinking my glass against hers before taking a sip of the rich, velvety wine.

When our bruschetta arrives, piled high with juicy tomatoes and fragrant basil, her eyes light up with excitement. “This looks amazing,” she exclaims, reaching for a piece of toasted bread.

“It tastes even better than it looks,” I assure her, taking a bite of the crispy bread topped with tangy tomatoes and savory garlic. “I could eat this every day and never get tired of it.”

She nods in agreement, her mouth full of delicious bruschetta. “I could definitely get used to this,” she says between bites, a satisfied smile gracing her lips.
