“Kennedy, I overheard you on the earpiece. Your father can’t get into the panic room,” Quinn said.

Her gaze met his. “Why?”

“The oversized freezers and refrigerators are down here. When I came down to gather the food, we needed, I accessed the panel on the exterior wall of the panic room. I was surprised to learn the password hadn’t changed. I created a new password just in case he got away from us.”

Kennedy smiled. “Yes, that was smart, Quinn.”

Her smile withered, holding his gaze. “It’s time to finish him.”

Quinn snickered. “It is.”

The anger brewing inside my body could cause an explosion in Texas. That was my level of anger. The man tried to kill my wife. If she hadn’t worn a vest, I wasn’t sure what I would’ve done...if I lost her. I pushed down those thoughts and focused on capturing that asshole and ending his ass once and for all.

Kennedy placed a bandage over the wound. I winced as I sat up.

“Do we know where the half-sisters are?” Kennedy asked no one in particular.

“Kennedy,” Vigo called out.

She glanced at him. “Yes?”

“They weren’t captured like you requested because they weren’t amongst the guests.” Vigo sighed.

“There’s no doubt in my mind they’re with him,” Quinn said.

“Kennedy, please tell me you’re killing them?” Quinn arched a brow.

Kitura, Damon, and Orson stared at Kennedy.

She peeked into their eyes. “Yes,” Kennedy stated.

“Good, they need to go,” Bonnie affirmed.

Kitura grinned. “Really, it’s long overdue.”

Damon and Orson nodded.

“Do the world a favor,” Damon said.

“Right, they’re shallow as fuck,” Orson added.

“Clip and Piero, how are you two holding up?” I asked.

“We’re fine,” Clip confirmed.

“Quinn patched us up. And I bandaged Quinn’s shoulder,” Piero said.

“Yeah, it was nothing. We have a surgical room and torture chambers down here. Isn’t that right, Kennedy?” Quinn stated.

A wicked grin crept onto her face. “Yes, how could I forget? You and I have tortured many of our enemies in these tunnels.”

“Yup, fun times,” Quinn chuckled.

Yeah, Quinn returning home definitely stirred up old memories and a special brand of crazy.

“Good, let’s find that asshole,” I stated.

After we devised a plan, we broke into two groups. Quinn, Damon, Bonnie, and Kitura went to the right. The rest of us hustled down the tunnel toward Mexico.
