She shrugged, blowing off my response. “Guys clothes are always better to travel in.”
“Oh yeah?” I challenged. “How many guys clothes are you wearing when you travel, Bay?”
She nonchalantly shrugged again. “As many as the notches on your belt.”
I growled.
She crossed her arms over her chest. “Did you just growl at me?”
“What if I did?” I started walking toward her. “What are you going to do about it?”
“Aires,” she warned, holding her arms up in front of her. “Don’t you dare!”
Before she could haul ass out of the room, I used her own momentum against her and caught her around her waist. In one quick sudden movement, I tossed her ass on the bed and quickly followed. Throwing the covers over our bodies next, I clapped and turned the lights off. Once again reaching around her waist, I tugged her toward me with her back against my chest.
Nuzzling into her neck, I whispered, “You smell good.”
She reluctantly scoffed out a chuckle. “Aires, that better be your cell phone digging into my ass right now.”
Smiling against her neck, I murmured, “You can call it whatever you want.”
“Oh my God. This is not appropriate.”
“We’re both single actors. This couldn’t be more appropriate.”
She squirmed against me, and I had to hold her tighter.
“I’m kidding.”
Reluctantly, she stopped, trying to hide her neck from my beard. “Did you really plan this?”
“No.”
“Are you lying?”
“Does it matter?”
Giggling from my beard assaulting her neck, she ordered, “Stop torturing me.”
“Then stop being a brat. You know you want to sleep with me.”
“You cocky shit!”
“Ugh,” I playfully rasped. “Get your mind out of the gutter, Bay. Always using me for my body.”
She elbowed my ribs, and I groaned.
“Rude.”
“You just hit me, and I’m rude?”
“I’m being serious,” she persisted adamantly. “We can’t do this.”
“We’re not doing anything.”
“Aires, you know damn well what I’m talking about. We have to keep this professional.”
“I am being professional. I have my gym shorts on, don’t I?”
