I gasped with fear at the sight of Flame so close and terrifying. I had stepped back into Terrek’s chest. He rubbed my

I evaluated this scary version of Flame. Her golden lines looked like lava moving like a river around her body. Her features were harsh now, and those eyes and fangs were very intimidating. Her skin turned a shade of red. Flame stood in front of us on display, allowing us to watch her. She must have been fearless to do this. Once I got past the initial shock, I
watched her. She was still so beautiful to me.
Flame’s eyes found reassurance when she locked her gaze
on Terrek. Then she lowered her eyes to look into mine. When
I relaxed and gave her a soft smile, Flame let her battle form
fade into her usual beautiful self.
“Remind me never to piss you off,” I said with a smile. “You are amazing. Terrek is right. You are exceptional.”
Flame gave me a sexy grin.
