I nod, unable to make myself speak.
He considers me, taking a step back and folding his arms. “Men your age don’t tell you what to do enough?”
“Never.”
He raises his eyebrows.
“They can never make decisions about anything. I feel like their mother.”
That earns me a soft laugh, and I look up into his eyes once more.
They’re on fire.
“Letting go of control can be a dangerous game, Victoria.”
“You seem pretty trustworthy.”
Another breathy laugh and Ben shakes his head. “I guess that much is true. But I don’t like the idea of you picking up guys in bars and then going up to hotel rooms with them so they can order you around.”
Just the hint of displeasure from him about my behavior—the concern he feels about my safety—is enough to make the decision for me. As if it hadn’t already been made.
“I told you it was my first time.”
“And your last?”
I lock eyes with him once more. “We’ll see.”
He holds my gaze for a long moment, and I can see the warring factions in his mind.
After what feels like forever, he blinks. “Get on your knees.”
I obey, using my hands to help myself down in my short, tight dress.
Ben walks the few paces back over and circles me once more. This time, I keep my gaze straight ahead.
“You are complete and utter perfection. Do you know that?”
I nod.
A soft chuckle. “Yes, I suppose you would.” I hear him take a long breath behind me and let it out slowly. “When I first saw you, you know what I thought?”
I shake my head.
“I thought, I’d like to ruin that girl.”
I can’t help the breath that sucks through my lips, or the sharp noise it makes. I clench my thighs together and shift slightly to one knee.
“Oh, the girl likes that, does she?”
I have no idea how this works, if I can speak or not, so I just nod again.
Ben circles until he’s standing directly in front of me, his erection prominent in the front of his pants that’s now level with my face.
“Close your eyes.”
I obey.
“Now picture me ruining you.”
