Bash tried to scowl, but the grin on his face didn’t fool me.

“Seriously, guys. If the two of you decide you want to be together, I can step back.” I pressed my eyes shut, not wanting to cry. If they thought I was manipulating them into including me, that would kill me more than an outright rejection.

A warm hand cupped my chin. Another hand rested on my thigh.

“Emily Eliza Avery,” Bash began. “I have never, ever thought you were being an idiot, but holy shit.”

“He’s right, Pink.” Mac squeezed my leg. “That’s the most ludicrous thing I’ve ever heard you say.”

“There is no us without you.” Bash kissed my neck and unhooked my bra.

“He’s right,” Mac said before sucking my nipple into his mouth.

My back arched, and I tried to reach for them, but they swatted my hands away.

“Nope. It’s our turn to take care of you.”

My panties nearly dissolved as Mac slid them off.

Bash caressed my clit, sending delicious ecstasy through me with each rub. “She’s so ready for us.”

“Well, yeah. After seeing the two of you—” My sentence ended on a moan as Bash pressed two fingers inside.

Curving his fingers, he stroked as I tightened around him, ready to explode. Mac captured my breast in his mouth again, taking my nipple between his teeth. I clutched Bash’s shoulder, pleasure seeping into every cell of my body, igniting me as we became a unit. The two of them unguarded—a team—as my climax rose and fell.

Mac brushed my hair out of my face and “God, let me taste that—”

But I stopped him, holding his hand in mine. Turning it over to see something that had caught my eye. His knuckles were bloody. How had I missed that?

I looked up, seeing Bash fully for the first time since I got home.

“I need your fingers out of me. Now.” My voice shook as I tried to make sense of what I was seeing.

Bash didn’t hesitate. He slipped out of me gently and studied my face. “What’s wrong?”

I had been so caught up in their fervor, I missed the swelling under Bash’s eye.

“What the fuck?”

Mac’s eyes widened, and he looked at Bash, who was on his feet, trying to console me.

“What’s wrong, Em?”

“We can’t—We can’t work like this,” I stammered.

Mac’s face twisted into a cocky grin. “We seem to be doing a pretty damn good job.”

“No. I thought you two worked it out. But if you thought hitting each other was the option—”

Confusion clouded Mac’s face for the briefest second before he burst into laughter. Bash laughed along with him, and I watched them in stunned disbelief.

“And you find it funny?”

They both sobered quickly.

“He didn’t hit me,” Bash said, his voice low and soothing as his laughter died out.

“Then who did you hit?”
