“Okay, good. I just don’t know exactly how balanced I can keep this—despite wanting to—so we all communicate like adults if we feel like our needs aren’t being met?”

“Agreed,” they said in unison.

“There’s a show I’ve wanted to take you to, Em. It starts in about an hour. Want to go?”

“I would love to.” I grinned at Bash, loving that he was jumping in with such enthusiasm.

“Can I go, too?” Mac asked.

Bash scowled at him, immediately relaxing his forehead when he noticed I had caught him. “You’ve already had a date with her. It’s my turn.”

“That’s fair,” I conceded, trying not to imagine them taking turns with me in other ways.

“How’s that fair? You two live together—”

“Darn,” Bash said, devoid of emotion. “Looks like you’ll have to actually work for something.”

I shot Bash a glare and smiled at Mac. “I’ll make this as fair as I can. I promise.”

My stomach lurched as the words left my lips. As much as I had always dreamed about two men wringing out every ounce of pleasure my body could give, this wasn’t exactly starting out the way I had imagined.

Chapter Fourteen

Sebastian

I’m on a date with Emily Avery and it’s everything I ever hoped it would be.

Except for the fact I stupidly chose a matinee performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, giving Mac Savage the chance to swoop in and ask her out on a hike when we were done.

I was caught off guard when she asked how long the show was. It was a rookie mistake and not one I would make again. It was such a shock to be getting ready for a date with her that I hadn’t thought to add a lengthy dinner afterward.

But we were at the theater and, even if her time was split between Savage and me, I would enjoy every single second of my date with her.

She was wearing a soft, flowy skirt that went to her knees, but I kept imagining it riding up as I smacked her ass. I tried my hardest to focus on what Puck was saying up on stage, but holy shit, all I wanted to do was bend her over the seat in front of me and sink myself into her.

Her leg kept brushing mine, sending a jolt of heat through me. I was hard, way too hard to think, and I was thankful I knew the general plot in case she wanted to talk about it afterward.

Although there was no way I could focus on a conversation. I could maybe power through it, but I didn’t trust myself to form a coherent sentence. Hell, every single time she bumped against me, I wanted to grab her and drag her to the bathroom, tasting every inch of her body until she screamed my name.

We’d be banned from the theater, but it would be worth it.

After tasting her kiss, I was addicted. Having her on my arm as we walked into the theater was heaven. I had loved her from afar for so long. I was worried I had built her up on a pedestal. But it was the opposite.

Now I knew she was mine. She had my heart for so long and all I wanted to do was worship her, pouring all that love on her until she forgot all the ass hats who hurt her in the past.

Am I thrilled about her dating Savage at the same time?

Absolutely not.

We don’t have the best track record in situations like this and if he came into this thinking she was a random puck bunny who meant nothing to me, he was going to get a reality check faster than he could blink.

If he hurt her—

“You okay?” Em curled her soft hand over mine and I relaxed my fist.

“Yeah,” I whispered back.

“Want to get out of here?”
