“You need to fuck me now,” she says breathlessly, amber eyes dark with desire.

“Anytime. All the time.” I grip her hip as I fumble with my pants—the pants she bought for me.

I kick them away as Cady sits up to pull at the buttons of my shirt.

I have no idea how we don’t rip something. Maybe we’ll find out later—her dress is still by the door. Welcome home, boys, and then I’m poised at her opening, Cady urging me on with firm hands on my ass.

And then I’m inside her with a rough thrust, but Cady’s gasp checks me. “Sorry, sorry,” I gasp. “I’ll be careful.”

“I don’t want careful.” Cady’s legs wind around my waist and I’m drowning in her scent, the feel of her skin against mine, her lips against my shoulder.

Her gasp of pleasure in my ear.

“I want this,” I tell her, pulling back to look at her. “I don’t want this to stop.”

“Never stop,” she moans.

“I want us. I want to be the only one who gets to touch you, who gets to fuck you. You’re mine, Cady.”

Mine…

Can that really be true? Can Cady be mine, and mine alone? Have I broken through the walls enough for her to trust me? For her to possibly love me?

“On top,” Cady gasps, squirming under me. I halt my frantic thrusts, and tucking an arm under her shoulders, manage to flip her without unsheathing. Anything she wants. I’ll do whatever she wants.

But what she wants—Cady rises like Venus from the sea, and rocks her hips. Her breasts sway over my chest, nipples pebbled and tempting.

I want to touch, but I can barely manage to keep my grip on Cady’s hips. I want to rise up and claim them in my mouth, but she slaps a hand on my chest to keep me down.

“Fuck, yeah…” I groan as she begins to buck above me, riding my cock with a thoroughness that makes my eyes roll back in my head. “Jesus…”

“You’re mine,” she husks. “This is mine. For me. Me, only.”

“Always you.” My breath comes in pants. “I can’t last like this much more.”

She takes my hand and slaps it between her legs, my fingers searching for the spot without any instruction. “Together,” she promises breathlessly.

“Always.”

After, I tuck Cady against me, breathing in the scent of her hair, the smell of us. The heat of her sunburnt back blends into my chest, but I’m not moving.

I drop a kiss on her shoulder and she murmurs in her sleep. I should have put aloe on her burn to help her sleep, but she seems to be doing just fine without it.

How can I keep her?

The thought pops into my head. I stare into the darkness, aware of Cady pressed back against me. How do I make sure she doesn’t leave?

I know her now. Cady’s walls are high and thick, but I’ve made it through. Going home tomorrow will shift things, and bring us back into reality where she is a lady boss billionaire and I am my father’s minion, forced to do what he asks.

I might come from family money, but I can’t compete with her. I can’t protect her, shelter her from the world. I can’t take care of her, and I’m surprised at how strong the urge to do that is.

I want to take care of Cady, but she’s been doing just fine on her own. Better than fine. It’s obvious she doesn’t need to be taken care of.

There’s no reason for her to want me.

I’m a catch for anyone, but how can I fit into Cady’s life?

I want to be a part of her world—an important part. But how?
