“Why wouldyoupick something like that?”

“I don’t know...just felt like it could be useful for something.”

I chuckled and shook my head. Corey kept up the façade of a serious office boss but deep inside, he was still the same ol’ troublemaker from our younger days at the Elite House.

“She’s going to be spitting mad when she wakes up,” I said.

“I know but she needs to hear us out before making a decision. Also, we’ve got to take her somewhere else before anyone finds out”

I thought for a moment before an idea formed in my head.

“There’s that dinner tonight,” I said, thinking fast. “Let’s get her into the room we booked for the weekend. We’ll have her all to ourselves, then. It’ll be the opportunity we’ve been waiting for the past five years.”

“Sounds good,” said Corey, grinning. “Now, go down and get the car ready. I’ll come down with her.”

“You’re going to carry her out in broad daylight?” I asked in an incredulous tone.

“Don’t be stupid, Cal.” He gestured toward a nearby corner of the office. “See those tarpaulin rolls? They just sent me the samples this morning.”

Soft chuckles escaped him. “It’s like the universe has been planning this kidnapping for me. I’m simply going to roll her inside one, throw her on my shoulder and walk out. They’ve seen me haul shit like this plenty of times to even suspect me of anything.”

The whole thing screamed of trouble but the opportunity to have Milla all to ourselves felt too good to pass over. I remembered the way she blew us off that morning, pretending to not even know us. We couldn’t let her carry on with the misconception that we didn’t care about her.

Milla had to know what she meant to us. It was the only way to heal our relationship.

“Call me if there’s any trouble,” I said in a grim tone. “I’ll be waiting by the south gate. Don’t take too long.”

Corey grinned. “Don’t stress. We’ll be fine.”

Unaware of her situation, Milla lay on the luxurious bedspread.

Corey and I were inside the hotel room we booked for the weekend. Dad already made reservations here for tonight’s dinner party, so we didn’t have to worry about anything for hours.

I couldn’t believe how easily Corey drugged her and carried her into my car. She might’ve grown older, gained power and influence, but she was still so vulnerable.

During college, she hid herself under baggy hoodies and ugly clothes. You had to look at her closely to see how beautiful she really was.

Milla was no longer the shy kid we once knew.

She’d discovered her beauty and honed it so well, she drew the attention of both men and women. Her clothes and makeup made sure she wasn’t an invisible wallflower anymore.

Milla commanded the entire boardroom that morning. Those stubborn directors and investors were eating every word she spoke. Her confident smile enthralled them and they were ready to make her their queen.

All this...and she was still so vulnerable.

The two beefcakes she hired as bodyguards were utterly useless. How could they let her out of sight when predators like us were lurking around?

A soft moan drew my eyes to her luscious lips. I wanted to kiss them, lick them and slide my cock through them.

My dick throbbed in response to my thoughts.

Milla’s legs stretched out and she moaned again. Her eyelashes fluttered but she still seemed incapable of opening her eyes.

“Milla’s starting to wake up,” Corey said from beside me. “Brace yourself.”

Anxiety swirled inside me. Part of me was even scared to face her.

She had every right to hate me but I still couldn’t bear it. Other than my brothers, I never loved a person as much as her.
