“I need you because you’re the only woman I love and have loved,” he said in a deep voice that reverberated through me. “I’m the best me when I’m with you. I felt lost when you were gone and nothing felt right until you returned back to me. The past few years have been the happiest in my life and I want you at my side for the rest of my life.”

My lips trembled at the force of emotions his words unleashed inside me.

“Milla, I love you,” Corey spoke before my mind could form a word. “Sometimes, it takes just one person to show you that it’s okay to let your guard down and be yourself. You’re that one person for me. I want to protect you and cherish you for the rest of my life.”

My heart felt so full, I was surprised I wasn’t swelling up like a balloon and soaring into the night sky.

Noah lifted his hand, giving me a glimpse of the small velvet box held between his fingers. Opening the lid, he presented me with the most beautiful ring in the world.

Nestled in the center was a bright, luminous pearl that shimmered with the reflected light from the candles and lanterns. Two golden wings, studded with tiny diamonds, were spread on its sides.

“A golden snitch?” I whispered, staring at the ring.

“As long as we hold on to you, we’re winners for the rest of our lives,” said Noah.

I couldn’t believe they were bringing Quidditch into their proposal. The three of them were impossible! There was no way I could ever say no when they were holding a ring that looked like that!

“Yes.” It was the only word my scattered, dazed mind could say.

Excited claps and shouts sounded right behind me, startling me.

Turning around, I saw Brian and Irene standing right behind me. They were both smiling and gently clapping.

“Milla,” Noah’s called my attention back to him.

When I faced them again, they were on their feet, gazing at me with the most loving, affectionate smiles. Corey and Caleb drew nearer as Noah picked up the ring.

Corey gently took hold of my wrist and brought it forward. Caleb spread my fingers out and Noah slipped the ring onto my finger.

“You’re ours,” my three partners chorused in deep, solemn voices that solidified our bond at that moment.

Noah drew me against him, capturing my lips in a searing kiss.

I kissed him back as tears poured from my eyes. The kiss turned salty but he didn’t stop.

When he stepped back, Corey took my lips. His kiss was softer, gentler, like a piece of melted marshmallow on the tongue.

“I love you,” he whispered, stepping back and allowing Caleb to take his place.

Caleb gazed into my eyes longingly before kissing me. His kiss was gentle at first but turned deep and ravenous a moment later. He didn’t hold back from pouring his emotions into the kiss.

Matching his passion, I kissed him back with the same fervor.

“Oh, don’t cry,” said Corey, drawing me into a hug.

“I can’t stop,” I said, wondering why I was still crying when I’d never felt happier in my life.

“You’ve made a mess of my girl,” Brian’s voice sounded close to me.

Moving away from Corey, I threw my arms around my father. He held me and patted my back soothingly, telling me it was all okay.

“I’m so silly, aren’t I, Brian?” I asked him, looking into his kind eyes.

“Brian?” Caleb said. “You can’t call him that anymore.”

“What do you mean?”

“You’ve agreed to marry us,” he said. “You should be calling him ‘dad’ like the rest of us.” A bright smile lit up his handsome face. “He’s your dad now too.”
