Fear flooded through me. What were they doing here? Grabbing the door, I pushed hard, hoping to close it before they could get inside.

“Is that the way to treat your brothers, Milla?” Corey said in a mocking voice while Caleb pushed his shoulders against the door, preventing me from closing it completely.

“I don’t want you here!” I shouted, doing my best to close the door but Caleb’s weight wouldn’t let me.

Corey pushed the door, nearly throwing me backward.

I stumbled.

Those few moments were enough for them to enter through the door and close it shut.

“Get out!” I shouted.

Caleb’s face was a mask of cold cruelty while Corey still grinned.

Corey took a step toward me, his gaze raking me from head to foot. “Nice fashion choice,” he said with a chuckle. “What are you? Still, five? Is that why you remained a virgin until we obliged?”

“You guys forced yourselves on me.” All the feelings I’d suppressed the whole day suddenly came to the surface. I hated them.

“Forced you?” Caleb said in a low, quiet voice. “Why didn’t you shout and call for help?”

“I didn’t want to ruin my mom’s happiness,” I said in a cracked voice. “You took advantage of that and hurt me. Did you enjoy ganging up on a helpless girl? Did it make you feel like men?”

Corey’s hand reached out toward me but before he could touch me, I slapped his hand away.

“Don’t touch me!” I screeched. “Get out of here. Now!”

Caleb pushed past Corey and grabbed my arm, pulling me against him.

My hand punched his rock-hard chest but it didn’t seem to have any effect on him. His hold on me didn’t loosen, only tightened.

Leaning in, he crushed his mouth against mine, forcing my lips to part by pushing his tongue in. I fought him, but his arms wrapped around me, caging me against his chest.

I was acutely aware of his taste, his smell, and even the way his breath fell on my face. Heat and fire surged through me, making me hate myself.

Squeezing my eyes, I did the only thing I could.

I bit his tongue.

Caleb threw me away from him, glowering at me with rage-filled eyes. His finger lightly tapped his tongue. A smear of blood coated the tip.

“She bit you?” Corey asked in a worried tone. “She likes doing that a lot.”

Caleb stayed quiet, glaring at me in a way that made my blood turn to ice. He was starting to scare me. Instinctively, I took a step back.

“You were such a good girl yesterday,” Corey said in a disappointed voice.

“This is my house,” I said, hating the way my voice trembled. “You can’t do what you want here. Mom’s not here either. So, I’m not going down quietly. I’ll fight you guys if you dare to touch me again.”

As a warning, I grabbed the heavy bowl which contained my popcorn. The thing was actually a large porcelain pudding dish my flatmate picked up at a garage sale.

“You’re really going to fight us?” Corey’s eyes darkened, mimicking the same calculative expression as his twin’s. He groaned, grabbing his crotch. “Fuck! All this fighting spirit is arousing me.”

“Don’t even dare!” I shouted.

Without warning, Caleb lunged forward, grabbing the bowl in my hand. Popcorn rained on us as we fought over it but within seconds, he’d snatched the heavy bowl from me.

He threw it away, letting it crash to the floor.
