The Jump Series

Elimination

Thalia Maxwell has it all. Daughter of one of the richest men in the world and a movie star mother. Except all she dreamed of is for the chance to make a career in showjumping. Thalia manages to convince her father to send her to train with world number one showjumper Theodore Rhodes after she finishes school.

Arriving in Wellington Thalia expects hard work and dedication. What she doesn’t expect is the tension, the push and pull between a man she should never have. A man that is in a relationship. A man that could ruin her. As they get to know each other and feelings develop, will she be able to stay away from him or will she jump in headfirst?

Theodore Rhodes is at the top of his sport. His results and reputation in the world of show jumping are yet to be beaten. When he gets asked to train Thalia Maxwell, he jumps at the chance. Not because he wants to but having a big name like hers will bring him even more into the spotlight than he already is.

But when Thalia arrives, he expects a spoiled little princess that wants to play my little pony. What he doesn’t expect is a girl so determined and beautiful he can’t help but be drawn to her. Themore time they spend together the further he falls. Will he risk everything for the one girl he should never have?

ELIMINATION is a new series and book 1 in the series with a cliff-hanger. It does contain tropes that some may find triggering such as cheating. However, the series will end in a happily ever after... eventually!

Thalia

Excitement courses through me as I spot the imposing sign on the brick wall.

Rhodes Farms.

The place I have wanted to train ever since I watched Mr. Theodore Rhodes, himself, compete at the Global tour in New York a few years back. I was mesmerized by him. The way he rode. The way he was at one with his horse. His riding was an art form. He won the whole competition, and I knew then I wanted to be just like him.

Theodore Rhodes is the number one show jumper in the world and the one person who can help me achieve my show jumping dreams. He won individual and team gold at the last Olympics - his third time competing for Team USA.

After much discussion—and begging on my behalf—my parents agreed to let me train with him, with the stipulation that I finish high school first. Of course, I agreed, and I graduated from St. Constantine’s private all-girls school a couple weeks ago. Now my journey can really start. I will be a showjumper. I will prove to my parents that this is what I want.

We pull through the wrought iron gates. I scan the area through the blacked-out SUV windows, taking in the lush greengrass and palm tree lined drive before the barn comes into view. I smile knowing I am going to see my horses in just a couple more minutes.
