QUINN
When my maker turned me into a vampire, he stole everything that made me human. My conscience. My emotions. Even my free will.
But the moment I looked into Derek’s eyes, I felt like myself again for the first time since my heart stopped beating. He’s kind, earnest, and honest. I couldn’t help falling for him.
I’d give him anything he asks for. Except the blood bond. Because that would mean letting him experience every terrible thing I’ve ever done. And if he sees the monster I used to be, I’m terrified I’ll lose him forever.

DEREK
Everything about me is a lie. And Quinn can never know.
Five years ago, I witnessed a mafia hit. I barely escaped with my life, and I’ve lived in hiding ever since, pretending to be someone I’m not. My name is fake. My past is made up. Quinn is the only thing in my world that’s real.
But now, the past has finally caught up with me. And I have two choices: I can disappear again, abandoning the only man I’ve ever loved. Or I can stay and fight for the life we’ve built together.
But staying means facing the cold-blooded killers who intend to tie up a loose end—me—at any cost. And worse yet, it means finally telling Quinn the truth about who I really am. The mafia might just kill me. But losing Quinn would destroy me.

On the Run with His Vampire Mate is an open-door MM paranormal romance novella featuring a human/vampire pairing, fated mates, hurt/comfort, found family, familiar faces from the Blood Bonded Mates series, attempted mafia hits that might not go quite as planned (because… vampires), and at least one exasperated immortal who is absolutely done with all these lovestruck idiots.

This book features a guaranteed HEA with no cliffhanger. While it can be read as a standalone, for the best reading experience, this novella should be read after Taming His Vampire Mate.
