I transferred to Whitcomb for the track scholarship and the science, not my microbiology course assistant, Kelvin Manchester, the smartest guy I’ve ever met.
When Kel invited me to a Halloween party at the Whitcomb Union manor, I didn’t expect a midnight hunt through the woods, and I definitely didn’t think he could catch me. Turns out he’s faster than he looks, and way more built than I imagined under those sweater vests.
Okay, whatever. I can appreciate when a guy works out. That doesn’t mean anything. The kissing part might mean something, though. Especially since I kissed him back. But I’m straight. And we said it was just an experiment. We’re both scientists, after all.
Would I be stupid to follow Kel into the abandoned building on the edge of campus? Or just mad?
