A clean hit took him out of the game he was born to play.

Cash Benjamin limped out of yet another doctor’s office with the same answer—no one would fix his knee. They wouldn’t even try. Their advice? Accept the facts. Cash Benjamin wouldn’t ever play professional hockey again.

No contract + No insurance = No future.
Not on the ice, anyway.

Enter Halo House.
A sanctuary for those who needed a place to land, a chance to rebuild, and sometimes, someone willing to believe in them when they stopped believing in themselves.

Cash didn’t believe in do-gooders or second chances. Cash believed in hockey. And he’d do anything to get back in the game. For months, he’d been fighting for a referral to the surgeon professional athletes trusted with their careers.

Dr. Thaddeus Vale.
A brilliant, intimidating former NCAA hockey player turned world-renowned surgeon who took one look at Cash’s knee and did what no one else would.

He offered to help. And Cash said yes.
Yes to yet another surgery. Yes to a long, grueling recovery. Yes to a shot at the only future Cash ever wanted.
Living under the same roof wasn’t part of the plan. Neither was wanting his sexy silver-fox Daddy of a doctor.
Halo House gave Cash the chance to get his old life back. He never expected to find one he might want more.
