“It’s Hollis and Luke forever.”

After leaving her husband, life for Hollis Walker was all work and absolutely no love or commitment for sure. The only thing that mattered to her was getting the latest celebrity gossip for her job. Content with the life she’d built after such a tremendous heartbreak, the last person she ever expected to be reconnected with was him, her ex-husband, Luke Deacon.
Second chances don’t always come around, especially not years later. But for Hollis and Luke, spinning the block this time wasn’t because of love or with hopes of getting back together.
Due to an unexpected loss, and legal bonds unbeknownst to them, they temporarily agree to act as a couple to achieve a common goal or lose everything they were once promised. It sounded easy enough, Hollis agreeing to spend time with the one person she’d sworn she hated since their time expired.

All the while, Luke saw this as an opportunity to get the one he’d let get away. Besides love for his baseball career, his life and heart haven’t been whole since losing her. Determined not to let history repeat itself, Luke is ready to prove that Hollis is still his forever. The only problem is, Hollis didn’t sign up for that.
