Sophie Hartwell has a gift for making terrible decisions.

After losing her job, her apartment, and most of her dignity, she’s back in Maplewood Falls, living at her cousin’s inn and pretending she has everything under control.
She doesn’t.
Determined to prove she’s not a complete disaster, Sophie comes up with a plan to fix her life once and for all.
It’s just a shame it might be the worst one yet.
And even worse?
It involves the one man in town who knows exactly how badly it’s going to go.
As Sophie’s carefully laid plans begin to unravel in spectacular fashion, she discovers that starting over is messier than she imagined—and sometimes the people who see you at your worst are the ones who believe in you the most.

A cozy, heartfelt romantic comedy about quiet love, found family, second chances, and the companion who walks beside you when you’re not ready to walk alone.
