Growing up, I had a lot of pressure put on my shoulders,
Making it hard to breathe.
But not from my dad, whose role within the club I was to take over,
Who was proud of me and cheered me on,
But from my mother.
She wanted things her way,
Tried to control every aspect of my life,
And I hated it.

And breathing without her became impossible.
