The capacity of his heart, his ability to love selflessly—it defines who he is.

My brilliant, sweet, gentle Alpha.

He rolls us onto our side, still locked in me, and I bury my face in his chest and weep tears of elation.

Landon belongs to me. I belong to him.

I wake up sometime later, clean and surrounded by warm, fresh blankets.

Landon’s no longer inside me, but his arms are wrapped around me, pulling me to his chest.

His scent stands out more in my senses than River or Vincent’s, now that we’re mated.

There’s still the need inside me, as if the bond with Landon isn’t complete.

As if something—or someone—is still missing from it.

I’m not whole just yet, but I will be, once I have River and Vincent.

“How are you feeling, my love?” he asks me sweetly, pressing a kiss to my ear. His cock is hard against my ass, and I grind against it lazily.

“More like myself,” I sigh. “But I know it won’t last for long.”

“You probably only have about ten minutes before things get…intense again,” Landon says. “You need to eat and drink before that happens.”

I hear chatter and laughter coming from the front of the house.

River and Vincent.

I untangle myself from Landon’s arms and sit up. “Are they getting along?” I ask in disbelief.

Landon grins. “They are, actually. And it’s thanks to you.”

“What?”

He sits up and wraps his arms around me from behind, pulling me back to his chest. “They have one thing in common, at least,” he says. “They both love you. And if we’re a pack, we take care of each other. So, they’re going to have to at least tolerate each other.”

I think of earlier, when they were taking turns using my mouth.

They seemed to get along just fine then, too.

Landon chuckles, as if reading my mind. “It will take time, and it’s not like they can just erase everything that has happened,” he adds. “But…you’re ours. And we will always choose you over lingering in the past and tearing each other apart.”

I’m stunned. “River had mentioned that they had come to an agreement, but I never thought they would willingly be in the same room together without me.”

Landon hums and nibbles at my neck. “Well, someone has to feed you. And Vincent taught River how to cook a long time ago.”

My jaw drops. “Really?”

“Really. They’ve been cooking for you while we’ve been in here.”

I freeze, anxiety bubbling in my stomach. “Are they okay with?—”

I don’t even finish the sentence before he pulls me closer. “Yes,” Landon promises me. “We’re all on the same page.”

I sag against him. Part of me was worried that there would be problems if I chose Landon first or didn’t have all three of them claim me at the same time.

But I should have known.
