“Of course.” Ivy sat back down, her back straight as a rod.

I sat down, not even giving Drake a chance to send me away. I wanted to stay here and help Ivy with my support. It sounded silly, but I tried putting myself in her shoes and I thought I would like to have someone beside me who was in my corner.

“We don’t have time to waste, so I’ll get directly to the point,” Drake said. “What do you know of Paimon’s plan? What can you tell us that will give us an advantage over him?”

Ivy glanced at me, before fixing her eyes on the vampire lord. “Paimon has the key that opens the portal to the Huddyria realm.”

“Huddyria?” Cain asked.

Ivy snorted. “I know, right? I had never heard of it before. But Huddyriuns are these incredibly strong and tall humanoids with weird skin and features. They are intelligent, but more brutal and rough than humans and other supernaturals.”

“And these Huddyriuns are allowing him to use their realm?” Drake asked.

“There are several countries in Huddyria,” Ivy said, making quotation marks with her fingers. “And within these countries, there are factions and sides. Paimon is paying one to allow him to use their place.”

“Paying?” Cain asked. “Like money?”

Ivy shook her head. “No, they have no use for our money in their world. I don’t know what Paimon is paying them with, but it certainly isn’t good.”

Drake and Cain exchanged a glance. “Continue,” Drake said.

“Right.” Ivy cleared her throat. “Hm, Paimon is keeping most of his army in Huddyria, so it’s harder for you to find him, but he does have a couple of buildings and houses here and there, so he can hide whenever he’s on Earth.”

“Do you know the location of these buildings and houses?” Drake asked.

Ivy nodded. “Most of them, yes.”

“Will you tell us?”

“Sure.” She rattled off a handful of addresses, and Drake and Cain wrote those down in their phones.

After taking notes, Drake looked at Cain and Cain simply nodded. “I’m on it.” The vampire prince got up and left the room.

My brow furrowed. I knew what that meant. Cain would arrange for groups of vampires to go to these places ASAP.

“Anything else?” Drake asked.

“Lord Drake, since he got the dragon’s magic and I stopped him from hurting Raika, Paimon hasn’t told me anything,“ Ivy said. “He’s not stupid. Since yesterday, he must have changed his plans, because he knows I would tell you everything.”

Drake nodded. “That’s why we must act before he has a chance to regroup.”

“His original plan was simple: get the dragon’s magic, become the most powerful supernatural on Earth, and force his way back into the underworld and kill anyone who stood in his way. If the dragon’s magic didn’t do it, then he would kill another powerful supernatural and steal their powers. He had a list of names: you, Thea, Ariella, a warlock called Keeran, a coven of witches, and other supernaturals I had never heard of before. He would probably pick and choose whoever was easier to attack.”

Drake’s brows slammed down. “But he got only half of the dragon’s magic.”

“That’s why he lured Raika to him,” Ivy said. “But he underestimated her. I would say that by now, he has either already found and stolen the magic from another supernatural, or he’s on his way to do so.”

Drake typed on his phone, probably noting down all the names Ivy had said, and sending texts to these people, warning them. He stopped and looked at her. “Thank you, Ivy. I’ll take care of a few things and I’ll be back later.”

She opened her arms wide. “I’m not going anywhere.”

One corner of Drake’s lips curled up. “See you later.” He nodded at her and me, then spun on his heels and left the room.

The moment the door shut behind him, Ivy turned to me with wide eyes. “Are all vampires in this castle that hot? I mean, I only saw two, but holy hell, they are fine.”

I chuckled. “You saw more vampires yesterday when you arrived.”

Ivy waved me off. “I was too distressed yesterday to look at them.”
