“No.” Andrea jerked her chin forward. “They can tell you.”

Clary glanced over, and her lips curled the moment she laid eyes on her boyfriend.

Boyfriend. She smiled at that.

There was something so deliriously rhapsodic about having someone to call her own.

“Seth.”

He strode over. “I’m sorry. I know you have a busy day planned.” He took out a cup from the paper bag he was carrying. “Peppermint mocha.”

“Thanks.” She took the cup. “You didn’t come here just to give this to me, did you?”

Seth glanced at Andrea as he extended the bag toward her.

“I get one, too?” Andrea took the bag and grinned.

“She’d probably give you hers if I didn’t get an extra one for you.”

Andrea nodded. “I didn’t tell her. I assume you texted me instead of her because you didn’t want to worry her.”

“Tell me what?” Clary asked.

“I think Ressler might’ve had help from your ex-assistant,” Ron said.

Clary turned, taken aback by seeing him.

How had she so completely missed Ron? Which was incredibly rude, so she decided to go on as if she knew all along he was there. “Tamara?”

Andrea rolled her eyes. “That woman again?”

Clary sucked in a breath through her mouth. Why did Tamara hate her so much?

“He might already be in the building,” Ron added and kneaded his neck. “I can’t be sure, of course.”

“So what now?” Clary glanced behind her at the security team. “I have a lot of things to do today.”

Seth nodded. “Andrea stays with you, as will the team behind you, right?”

“Yes,” Andrea said and pointed at the second-in-command of the security team. “Ken has alerted the main control room to deploy men to canvass the building.”

Ron stepped forward. “Pay special attention to the janitors and other workers that office employees wouldn’t notice,” he said to Ken. “I’d like to take a look around, too.” He glanced at Clary. “If that’s okay.”

“Go ahead.” She turned to Seth, then snapped her head back to Ron. “I’m sorry. I should’ve asked earlier. Do you have a place to stay?” Could she offer a room at the Bay Area mansion to Ron? Would Mr. E mind?

Would Seth mind?

But staying at a hotel was expensive, and Ron was already here on his own time.

“I’m staying at a motel. Mr. Eolenfeld offered me a hotel room next to yours. I’ll take him up on his offer if you decide to—”

“Andrea’s staying there. You should take the offer anyway. I don’t feel good about you paying for a motel room.”

Andrea waved it off as she took a sip of her mocha. “Just stay with me. There are three rooms in my suite. I don’t mind.”

“Great.” Clary beamed at Seth. “And is Movement’s CEO going to be traipsing all over the bank too?”

“I’m not that free. And” —he took a step closer to her— “I don’t have to do manual labor. I have robots for that.”
