“Let’s go before they start betting on names,” Angelina chuckled.

“We’re ready.” Ben hustled her to the front of the room. “Make it quick.”

“Ben,” Angelina admonished.

He shot her a look that made her reconsider.

“He is right,” she gulped. “Make it quick.”

She had no idea what the judge said once he started. Fifteen minutes and two signatures later, she was a married Mrs. Ben Owen. Angelina couldn’t be happier about it.

“You ready to go?”

“So ready to go. I am starving,” Angelina agreed.

“Change of plans,” Ben smirked at her. “We aren’t going to have lunch at The Place.”

“We aren’t?”

“Nope. Your husband is taking you away for two weeks.”

“Do I get to eat before we go? What about my work?”

“I emailed everyone on your schedule to tell them you will be out of the office for two weeks,” Ben said proudly. Leaning close, he whispered for only her to hear. “I also know my wife loves fries and chocolate shakes.”

Angelina guiltily looked around to make sure Max didn’t hear. He was a few feet away with Jake wrapped in his arms and a huge smile on his face.

“Really, Ben? You could have made me a widow with a statement like that.”

“What do you say, my wife? Want to go stay in a cabin in the middle of nowhere for the next two weeks while your husband fucks you into the mattress as often as he can to make sure you are pregnant by the time we leave?”

“What if I’m already pregnant? Can I get the rest of that with,” Angelina leaned closer, whispering softly, “extra fries?”

“Shorty, love,” Ben murmured in awe. “You’re,” he could finish, swallowing hard around the lump in his throat.

“Are you mad?” She worried. “I found out when Sam brought the dresses. She brought me a test. I was late, but not that late. I wanted to know for sure before I told you. That’s why Jake wasn’t allowed upstairs. There was no way he could have kept this a secret.”

“Love you so much.” Ben locked his mouth on hers. “So damn happy,” he told her as his hands held her flat stomach protectively.

“God damn it,” Mack fumed, drawing everyone’s attention. “I am never betting with you on our girl again.”

“Double or nothing,” Gary challenged. “It’s a girl.”

“No way. Look at him,” Mack shook his head. “There is no way a girl is coming out of that. Those are boys all day long.”

“It is a girl,” Quinn whipped out some cash to join in.

“Team boy,” Rat added his money to the growing pile in Jake’s hand. “A badass mix of a vicious kitten and Banger. I can’t wait to be his favorite uncle.”

“She is having twins,” Sam smiled knowingly.

“Twins, identical boys,” Max looked Angelina over thoughtfully. “Twin boys that she will never sneak off and feed chocolate milkshakes made from mystery ingredients and fast food fries that never mold.”

Angelina ignored the money changing hands and the comment about her regular status at the drive-through.

“Are you happy?” Ben asked.

“So happy,” Angelina murmured, leaning into his arms. “I got everything I ever wanted and never thought I could have.”
