“I don’t care what she does.”

She turns to me and swallows hard. “I’m not good at this.”

“You are.”

“No.” She shakes her head. “I don’t know how to let go. That’s why it was so easy for me with Stephan. He gave me rules. I followed them. I relaxed into that.”

“We can make up rules.”

“Like what?”

“You tell me if anything is too much.”

She nods.

“Or if you want anything. Whatever comes to mind, you can say it. You won’t upset me.”

“Nothing will?”

“I’ll get over it.”

She doesn’t seem to believe me, but she doesn’t argue. “It’s that easy?”

“And you let me lead.”

“Let you Dom?”

A laugh spills from my lips. “Eventually, maybe. But we start here.”

“I want to feel like me.” She pushes the straps of the dress off her shoulders. She rolls the garment down her stomach, lifts her hips to roll it over her ass, kicks it off her feet.

Fuck.

“Much better.” She lifts again, this time to push her black panties off her hips, and then she settles into my lap, naked except for her boots. “How does this go?”

Sex in a car isn’t my expertise, but I can make it work. “Put the seat all the way back.”

She does.

She shifts onto her side, leaving me just enough room to slide onto my side, on the passenger seat.

Deanna repositions us, so I’m on my back, and she’s on top of me. “I have a condom in my purse,” she says.

“I have one, too.”

“Oh. Good.” She settles into my lap. “I don’t know how to do this.”

“You fooled me.” I bring my hand to her cheek.

She looks down at me, vulnerability and desire in her eyes. “I fool everyone. They think I’m this perfect, put-together person, but I’m not. I have problems, weaknesses, the same as everyone.”

“I know.”

“Do you?”

I think so.

“No. I don’t want to talk anymore. I… Let you lead. Okay. I can do that. But first—” She leans down and brings her lips to mine. A soft brush. Then a harder one.
