Page 70 of Marek
“Oh, come on,” I smile, biting my lower lip. “You’re family now. Should we call Aleksander and tell him the good news?”
Marek grumbles under his breath.
Aleksander and Marek speak, but it’s not often. It’s an effort, but it’s better than nothing and I hope over time, he might just get some of the family back that he deserves. My plan is to pour so much love into Marek, that he has no option but to soften with time. At least, that’s what I’m hoping will happen.
He grunts. “Don’t push me, Ellie Mae. And as for your family, they have no idea the kind of man I am.”
“They don’t need to know,” I say, reaching down and gripping his cock, squeezing. “That’s our little secret.”
“If they’re anything like you,” he rasps, his jaw tight. “I won’t be able to get rid of them.”
“You love that you can’t get rid of me, just admit it.”
He leans down, biting my lower lip before kissing me long and deep.
“You’re mine now, little dancer.”
His words send shivers down my spine. “Oh, I know it.”
I know this life is a risk, and that I could end up in a situation where I’m hurt or worse, but life without him just isn’t worth it for me. I’ll take the risk. I’ll wake up every day, and urge him to do better, to bring out the good side in him. And when the good side is tired, I’ll cradle the beast, accepting it and nurturing it, until little by little, it learns to rest easy.
I’ll take all of him.
And I’ll fight for it.
Because, to the world he might be dreadful, but to me he is the world.
And I, his little dancer.
