“I don’t even know why I’m here, honestly. I have someone back at my place.” I growled out of frustration but mostly hunger.

What is that one saying that humans love to use?

Ah.

Patience is a virtue.

It was a virtue that I needed to learn if I wanted to curve these cravings.

I still hadn’t let my parents know the predicament that I was in. Only my older brother knew.

If I hadn’t bumped into him in the elevator of our condo building with a blonde limp in my arms, perhaps he would still not know the extent to which I teetered on losing myself to the curse.

Fiona teased. “Well, I never thought I’d see the day Dustin skipped out on a chance for dinner.” Her fingers twirled along my chest, searching for some reaction from me. “Well, if you’re starting to get bored with humans, you know where to find me.” She tried to wink, but it looked more like a twitch.

“I’ll pass.” I looked at her sternly. I didn’t want to deal with her right now. Not while everything in me craved the touch of someone else.

Someonenew.

Her bottom lip pouted as she tousled my bleached hair. “Always so serious.” She stumbled away drunkenly, sliding out of her red stilettos, and I was left with my thoughts and that burning desire inside me.

The itch, begging to be scratched.

I tried to contain myself. To hold the hunger until I left, to prove to myself that I wasn’t turning Incubus, but the need only grew.

I found myself ravenously searching through the crowd of dancing humans. My eyes were intent on finding someone of intrigue who could tame me for the time being or at least hold me over until I got home. And that’s when I saw the perfect prey.

Or rather, my weakness.

Blondes always seemed to spark that carnal arousal in me.

She stood shyly to the side, watching people dance, but didn’t try to engage with anyone, which was surprising considering her gorgeous appearance. Or maybe I was just horny. It was always so hard to tell when I was this starved.

She almost seemed to glow against the neon bar lights behind her, so vibrantly that I could feel the energies coming off her without trapping her in my charms. It made the wheels in my head turn with curiosity, mainly because that wasn’t possible. I assumed it to be some starved hallucination, but it did make me wonder how good she might taste.

Her blonde hair tossed as she looked like she wanted to indulge herself, but she hesitated from dancing and stoodawkwardly by the bar. I swiftly slid behind her and tapped on her shoulder gently.

One look, and she would bemine.

Her eyes shot back at me, but her body was stiff and frozen with fear at my touch. I could smell her faintly, hints of grapefruit and – vanilla? It wasn’t a seductive scent in the usual sense, butGod,she smelled divine. Like I could lick every drop of perfume off her paled, soft-looking skin.

“Can’t say I’ve ever seenyouin here before,” I spoke over the music, trying to hold myself together. I felt like a caged dog, foaming at the mouth in anticipation of release.

She drunkenly spun around, widening her eyes at me; nothing unusual. I was expecting more of an aroused reaction from such a shy personality.

“I-I don’t go out much.” Her face blushed adorably, such easy bait.

I laughed at how simple this would be; the thought of her squirming nervously underneath me came to mind.

I wouldn’t have been clean about it, either.

It would have been messy and loud, and -goddamn it- I was watering at the mouth just thinking about it, just thinking abouther.

“I can tell.” I gently rubbed my hand into hers, waiting for her to fall under my sexual seduction so that I could fuck her already. Maybe I could do a three-way with the girl waiting in my apartment?

My feet were impatiently pacing in place, getting excited about the idea of it.

“I wonder what sounds you’ll make as I fuck you,” I added, letting my mind drift to satisfying thoughts of her moaning beneath me.
