Ender went still for a moment as his head cleared, but putting everything on me and obeying his Handler had Ender relaxing again quickly. Talking didn’t seem to be in the cards at the moment, but he rubbed his cheek against my chest and made a pleased whine.

“That’s right.” Kissing his head again and petting his softening dick, I nuzzled against him. “My good pup. Settle. I’m going to pet my pup and get good snuggles.”

Having a simple order to follow and no questions to answer earned me another cute sound, but my favorite was the way he let out a deep breath and was out like a light.

Ender the pup was orgasmed out and exhausted, but I was hard and stuck and sticky. So I was clearly a plotter, not a pantser when it came to scenes. That was good to know for the future, but at the moment, it was a pain-in-the-ass realization.

Chapter 9

Ender

I’d done really well.

I was proud of myself.

I’d gotten out of Leif’s bed without dying of embarrassment or making him think I was regretting the strange life choices that had let me end up there to begin with.

I’d made us breakfast and had started work on time.

I’d even figured out why the website that’d just hired me was flashing between selling shoes and selling porn. People really shouldn’t piss off web designers as often as they seemed to, but I’d fixed the problem quickly and managed to figure out who’d done it to them.

But my bravery was quickly fading…someone from Leashes and Lace was coming up the stairs.

“Leif. I’m… You’ve…” Oh, he had headphones on. “Shit.”

I could do this.

I could do this.

I was a brave pup.

Well, I was kind of a pup and I’d been brave a few times. That counted.

Oh, that was the doorbell.

Interrupting Leif’s writing time because I was scared of a box was silly…maybe I was scared of the person?

Either way, it was silly.

Reminding myself of that helped me get off the couch and I actually made it to the door before I had to start making a conscious decision to breathe.

He looked normal.

Cute.

Cheerful.

Not nearly as scary as crazy guy.

I could do this.

“Hi. Can I help you?” I was going to pretend I hadn’t seen him cross the street for as long as possible, but his giggle made me doubt how long that would work.

“I’m Kenton. I’m a pup from L and L.” He volunteered that without any reservations as he held out a box that looked like it should’ve contained printer paper. “Eli sent me with some goodies.”

Oh wow.

As my brain was tripping over who he was and what he did and what he had and that he knew what was in the box, Kenton smiled wider and kept going. “He said to apologize for not being able to bring it over himself. He crashed the website again and it’s chaos over there. Luckily for me, I have no web skills whatsoever and I got to escape the screaming.”
