“You need a drink, Hellcat?” Rebel nods and I glance at the women. “Ladies?”

The other ladies shake their heads and I lead my woman toward the bar, needing a few moments with her. I brush my lips across her temple and murmur, “I’ve missed you.”
Amusement dances in her brown eyes as she looks at me. “We’ve been here together all night.”
“Not the same,” I rumble. I might even pout a little. “You’ve been across the room and chatting with the old ladies for a while now.”
As we wait for Ashton, the prospect working the bar tonight, to get drinks out to people who were here first, she turns toward me and wraps her arms around my neck. The way she goes up on her tiptoes to do it is fucking adorable.
