If I walked any faster, I would have been running.

I crossed the street — almost getting hit by two shuttles in the process — before scaling up the front steps of the hotel’s entrance.

I paused before realizing I was wearing no kind of disguise and thinking better of it.

It didn’t matter.

I headed in but didn’t approach the lobby.

I raised my hand to block my face and instead headed directly to the hyper-elevator.

I pressed the button and realized it required some kind of key to access.

I didn’t want to go to the front desk, not unless it was absolutely necessary.

So I turned and hurried upstairs, and was relieved to find these did not possess any kind of security system.

I wound up one flight after another until I reached the third floor.

I should have been puffing and panting by that time as it was a particularly hot and humid day but I felt none of it.

I shoved the emergency exit door open and came to a long series of doors.

I glanced at each of the numbers, pausing twice and having to head back the way I had come twice.

How they numbered these rooms wasimpossible!

I make a mental note to create a new regulation forcing hotels to number their rooms in the correct sequential order!

Finally, I came to it.

I raised my fist to knock before thinking better of it.

I ran my hands over my hair, checked my clothes were on straight, and took a deep breath.

I took a few minutes to breathe deeply until my heart rate had slowed.

Finally, unable to wait any longer, I knocked on the door.

A soft voice called out:

“Come.”

Knowing I was coming, she must have left the door unlocked.

I depressed the handle and shoved it open.

And there, lying on the bed, was Layla.

I stopped, frozen in place, gawping at her like a horny teenager seeing his first naked female.

She wore sexy lingerie, her breasts pressed upward, making them appear even larger than usual.

Her matching panties had flowers on them, attached to garters with long stockings.

She wore red lipstick that almost glowed in the darkness.

Her hair lay free and gently dusted her shoulders.
