“Reath, have your guys check for any cars reported stolen in the area over the last hour.”

Reath’s eyes widened minutely, and he nodded. “On it.” He pressed the phone back to his ear. “Linc, I need you to check for—”

I looked around again.I’m going to find you, Warner. Make you regret taking my girl and terrorizing my woman.

My thoughts turned to Macy. When I got back, I’d make sure she knew exactly how I felt about her. So she never doubted it again.

“Okay. Blue Chevy Colorado. Got it.”

I turned back to Reath.

My brother smiled briefly. “A blue Chevy truck was reported stolen thirty minutes ago. My guys are tracking it. It ran a red light about three blocks from here. Lincoln’s doing a little less-than-legal hack into the car’s GPS.”

Energy filled me.Gotcha, asshole.

“Someone call Boone. He said he’s happy to help out while he’s in town.” My mouth flattened. “Let’s bring my daughter home, then I can get home to my woman.”

“Your woman, huh?” Dante said.

“I’m not giving her up.” My tone was as solid as granite. “She’s mine.”

Kav nodded. “Good. I didn’t want to have to kick your ass if you messed it up.”

“Let’s save the ass-kicking for Warner,” I said. “That bastard needs to learn a lesson.”

Kav’s smile held a deadly edge. “Yeah, don’t mess with the Fury brothers.”

MACY

As I slipped out of the warehouse, I scanned around. I didn’t see any of Reath’s security guards, but there was no one else around either.

Head down, I quickly marched toward the office, resolve filling me.

I was getting Daisy home safely. No matter what.

I turned the corner and half jogged to the office. I was out of breath as I unlocked the door and headed inside.

Colt. My mind kept going to him. I wondered if he was all right. He’d be so worried about Daisy.

My stomach lurched and I swallowed. He couldn’t lose her.

I circled the desk and sat. Quickly, I opened my email and searched the trash folder. I saw the email from Scott and steeled myself. I made sure not to look at the gross pictures as I hit reply.

Tell me she’s not hurt.

I hit send.

I pressed my palms to my eyes, all the emotions cutting through me like knives.

Ping.

My head jerked up. There was a reply.

She’s fine.

I blew out a breath and typed.
