“There are always rules.” She brings my attention back to her.

“Your turn. Tell meone thing,” I insist.

“No way, old man. You don’t get to skip your turn. You still need to tell me a new thing.” She giggles, taking another step back into the brick wall, and on instinct, I follow.

“I’m really happy to be here in this stupid alley with you right now,” I say, hoping it’s good enough. “But I’d really like to be somewhere else.”

She drops her eyelashes to her cheeks and smiles. With her eyes closed, I get a chance to look her over again. Her legs have goosebumps from the rain dripping down them. Her ponytail hangs over one shoulder, her arms now looped into my jacket, the cuffs of the sleeves covering her fingers almost entirely. When she opens her eyes to look at me, I see the color in them change. From bright green to a jaded tone. Dark and crisp. Almost like smoke.

“Okay, now can you tell meone thing?” I try again, taking one more step toward her to close the space only for her to realize her back is now flush against the wall.

“Ifeltyou in the theater. I was uncomfortable because I was feeling it too, in my own way of course.” My breathing actually wavers at her admission. She was also feeling the visceral want pulling her toward the physical attraction between us.

She splays her hands out on either side of her, open palms against the brick. She gives me the craziest smile before she tells me herone thing.

“I also want you to kiss me.”

My heart thuds quickly in my chest. I can tell hers does the same. But I’m not quite sure I heard her correctly.

“What?”

“I really want you to kiss me, Nolan.” She takes a deep breath, bracing herself against the wall and with no more hesitation or thought, I eat up the rest of the space between us.

I grab her by the waist and pull her into me, picking her up to wrap her legs around me, her back still leaning against the wall.

She wraps her arms around my neck, her eyes searching mine. Her breathing is ragged and deconstructed. Mine is too.

Rushed and needy.

“Are you sure?” I ask for her permission. And all it takes is her greedy nod and the pull of her lip between her teeth for me to grant her wish.

The crash of our lips is like a wave coming down to shore. And just as such, the rain comes down heavier. Pouring over us as we explore each other in this dark but intimate alleyway.

Her back arches off the brick building, her legs squeezing tighter around my torso. My dick is hardening with every swipe of her tongue. She digs her nails into the back of my neck as I pull her bottom lip in between my teeth. She lets out a little moan, and my cock twitches, straining even harder in my pants.

I feel her thrust slightly, and it takes everything in me to break the kiss.

Legs still wrapped around me, her skirt bunches up at the top of her thighs, back still leaning against the building, and the rain still pouring from the sky, I rest my head on her shoulder.

“Tell meone thing,” she asks, catching her breath as I try to do the same.

I look up at her. “That was the best kiss of my life.” It’s not a lie. And I may be bad at this wholeone thinggame, but my heart is racing with anticipation as I try to come down from the feeling of her mouth on mine. I can see her amusement. But she’s humble about it.

She takes one of her hands and uses it to trace her finger from my lips to my jawline, running her fingers through my beard. I tighten my grip on her, one hand placed on the small of her back pressing her tight against me and the other leaning against the wall to help support us.

“Aren’t you going to ask me?” she wonders.

“Okay, tell meone thing, DJ.” I lower my lips to hers and kiss the side of her mouth, earning myself another little thrust of her hips.

She leans into my ear and whispers, “I’m all wet.” She smiles up at me behind wet lashes.

My dick hardens even more than I thought possible. When I realize she’s in fact talking about the rain, I chuckle as I lower her to the ground.

She straightens her skirt back down and pulls the jacket tighter around her.

“Can I have one moreone thing?” she asks me, attempting to wipe the smeared mascara from under her eyes.

“You can have all theone thingsyou want,” I tell her.
