The flushed skin, the stiff nipples, and the smell of her arousal, told him everything he needed to know. He wasn’t arrogant, but he had a well-earned confidence in how he looked. He worked out and watched what he ate. Mother Nature had also generously endowed him. Many women had told him he was hot, but he wanted to be so much more than that for Jessica.

He was head-over-heels for her. She was everything he’d ever wanted and so much more than he even knew he needed. He crawled up on the bed, stretching out beside her and taking her mouth with his. As he kissed her over and over, he let his hands begin to roam over her, reclaiming her as his as he kissed her mouth, nose, cheeks, and eyes.

Jessica’s hand reached down between them to wrap around his cock, and he hissed, not in pain, but at the sure and feminine way she took hold of him. She wriggled away from him and trailed kisses all over his torso, pushing him onto his back as she explored his body the way he had done with hers the night before.

Her breath against his skin was almost his undoing. She lowered her head, opened her mouth and rolled her tongue over the head of his cock as she sucked him into her mouth, enveloping him as she licked and sucked, letting her hands come up to cup his balls and gently roll them with her fingers.

Thorn sank his hands into her hair, fisting it but letting her have her way. Her tongue swirled around his cock and he drew her hair back so he could watch her lavish his dick with the attention only she could give it and that it had been craving all day. Involuntarily, his hips surged up, driving him deeper into her mouth. She sucked him down, allowing him to feel the soft, velvety place at the back of her throat.

He tightened his fist. “I can’t take any more, Jess. I need to be inside you. I need to feel you all around me. I need to be balls deep. I’ve been aching for you all day.”

Thorn released her hair and pulled her towards him, scooting up the bed until he was propped up against the headboard and she was straddling him. His blood raced through his veins like a wildfire burning out of control. Jessica placed her hands on his shoulders, and with his hands on her hips, she began to lower herself, gasping and sighing as she took him inch-by-inch until he was seated as deep inside her as he could be.

As soon as she settled, she let a deep moan escape as she rolled her hips and her head fell back. The enormity of their pleasure and the intensity of the emotional attachment he felt to her was almost overwhelming.

Jessica began to move as he rolled his hips, thrusting up inside her and bringing her forward so he could recapture first her mouth and then take her nipples between his lips one at a time. He felt her orgasm the first time he gave her nipple the edge of his teeth and she cried out, her body falling forward.

Grasping her hips so that he wouldn’t lose her, he eased her onto her back so that he was between her legs. He began to thrust in and out, over and over, faster and faster until he felt her body tense in anticipation and need and he began to pound into her until they came together in a heart-stopping climax. Thorn groaned as he came, filling her completely.

Suddenly he froze. He’d forgotten the damn condom.

“It’s okay,” she whispered. “I’ve been on birth control for years and haven’t been with anybody for a very long time.”

“I haven’t fucked a woman without a condom since I was young and stupid and thought I was going to die the night before my first battle. That, too, was a lot of years ago.”

“See? Everything’s good. And if you get to drive my roadster, I get to drive yours.”

“Done.”

The following morning, he dragged her into the bath and into her enormous shower. Her gentle hands began to fill the sea sponge and wash his body clean. There was an intimacy between them that went beyond sex. They were connected in a way he’d never been to anyone. There was a deep peace and quiet joy that went with loving Jessica Murdoch.

He looked down at the woman that was resting in his arms. She’d rinsed him clean and was now just content to hold him as she laid her head on his chest. Jess had given her weight to him, trusting that he’d hold her up. The wet heat of the shower made her hair curlier. He ran his hands over her body—a body that was made for a man’s loving. And he meant to be the man who did all the loving from now on.

Thorn grabbed the sea sponge and drizzled liquid soap all over it, returning the favor and washing her clean. She rubbed her cheek against his chest. “That feels nice.”

“I told my boss this wasn’t a one-night stand for me. I probably should have told you first. I suggested I could remote in from here.”

“We can turn the library into your office, and I think the water down by my dock is deep enough for your sailboat. I haven’t done any sailing in deep water, but I think I might like it.”

“I think you’ll love it. We can either bring the boat ourselves or have someone sail it to us, and then we’ll need to get my car here.”

She nodded. “We may have to look at expanding the garage. We’ll need to go through the planning department, but we can figure that out later.”

“Just like that? We’ll figure it out?”

“Pretty much. It’ll be fine, Thorn. You’ll get used to it.”

“Used to what? You? Us?”

“Yep and being rich. We’re very, very rich.” She laughed as she looked up and saw the look on his face. “Look, I inherited part of my money, but I also worked really hard for the rest of it and made really good investments. I don’t apologize to anyone for having it or for spending it. If you’re going to get hung up as to what’s my money versus your money, this will never work. I mean I know we need to talk about things we want to buy, but my feeling has always been, if the money runs out, I’ll make more. What you do is really important. It improves the human condition. I entertain people, and that’s really nice…”

“That’s important, too. I’ve watched you with people. You’re generous, not just with your money but your time, and in ways that will never do anything for you.”

“I live by two very simple ideals: you leave the situation better than you found it, and those who have the ability to do so, have the responsibility to do so. You do that every single day by virtue of what you do.”

“I’m not sure if I did something very, very good to deserve you or you did something very bad to deserve me.”
