Fuck me, you'd think a bunch of bikers have never seen a bullet wound before.

I sigh when I notice Stormy.

He's got his hands on his hips and is bent forward slightly; pain etches his face as his eyes stay on my shoulder.

Doc starts checking my movement on my shoulder, making me grunt.

"Alright fuckers. I'm okay, I promise. Mel looked at it; she made her doctor friend look at it, and my unit's doctor, who is fully trained, by the way, had stitched it up. I'm okay."

The whole room is quiet; all you can hear are Stormy's footsteps as he walks over to me. Fuck sake, these men. I shake my head before Doc gets my attention when he says, "It's not a through and through. How'd they get the bullet out? Surgery?"

I clear my throat, knowing they're going to be pissed.

"No, uh, one of my men had to pull it out on scene during a shootout."

The brother's eyes widen while Doc scowls at me, making me chuckle. I give him a side hug. "I'm good, Doc. I promise I am. There was no way I was leaving my girl."

He nods, but his scowl is still in place as Stormy stands before me, his eyes still on my shoulder.

"I'm okay, Stormy."

He swallows hard before nodding, then looking back at me; he clears his throat but doesn't get to speak before Axel walks in. "Alright, brothers, now that our man is home, basement now."

Stormy nods while Ink, Gunner, Butch, Flame, and Tank grin, heading down to the basement. I grin at Doc, who shakes his head with amusement at me asI follow them. I notice Leslie smirking on my way to the door out of my side eye, and I sigh. Clearly, Stormy believed whatever fucking shit she spewed after that disastrous dinner, where her treatment of me started coming out. Years later, she's still trying to make my life hell, all because her husband and old man had a kid with someone else when she was barely with him.

What will it take for my so-called father to see her true colors?

When I get into the basement, I freeze on the spot, my question answered. Fuck. The brothers look at me in confusion when I don't move from the doorway, while the man chained to the ceiling by his arms in nothing but his boxers grins at me, his brown eyes lighting up, not giving a fuck what kind of situation he's gotten himself into. "Well, if it isn't my favorite subject, How are you, Travvy? You missed me like I missed you."

Everyone looks at me with shock while I just stare at my nightmare.

Axel snaps out of it first and punches the man in the face before looking at me when I rasp,

"Shacks."

It's all I can say before Ink comes into my view, his eyebrows furrowed.

Fuck.

"How do you know him, Dag?"

I swallow hard before looking at Stormy, who looks confused, then back at Ink, fully aware of the brothers in the room, knowing my past is about to be in the open.

I take a deep breath before I rasp out,

"He's the man who molested me from the time I was 10 years old until I finally left for the Navy." Ink's eyes widen in shock while the brothers all suck in a breath, but I ignore them and look at Stormy, whose body has gone tense. "You can thank your wife for that."

He takes a step back, like he was punched, while I look back at the man who destroyed my childhood.

Shack grins wide, blood dripping from his lip. "Aww, come on, Travvy, we both know how much you loved being chained to your bed; I have plenty of foot…"

He doesn't get to finish; Tank rushes up to him and starts to pummel his face and body. It takes Gunner and Flame to pull him back, but not before we all hear a crunch somewhere on Shacks' face, most likely his nose. I look towards Stormy again, refusing to meet my brother's eyes before I take a deep breath.

His eyes show disbelief; he doesn't believe me yet again.

It's now time for me to make the biggest decision.

To show him my truth.
