I have been feeling so guilty about everything that happened and letting them down by not going through with the wedding. Leaning back, I look up at Haldor, his expression still filled with anger. “I don’t know what to do!” I know that I should be feeling anger or hate, but all I’m feeling is relief. There is also pain, sadness that I have spent my whole life being lied to.

“You don’t have to do anything,” Haldor says, “we will find the truth, and then once we know all the truth, we will decide what we shall do.”

When I first woke up this morning, I was excited to see Haldor thinking that I had found myself a family which I didn’t have to worry about hiding things from, which I could just be myself with, and maybe soon they would make peace with Papa. Now, a couple of hours later everything has changed, and I have been told that everything I ever believed was a lie.

I look up at Haldor, for the first time since first meeting him that I feel a weight off my shoulders. I was berating myself for hurting my family, but at the end of the day they are the ones that have been hurting me for my entire life without any concerns. I am now completely free to live my life the way I want to live it without worrying that I will be breaking Papa’s rules and be punished for it.

“Thank you for finding me,” my quiet words have Haldor pulling me against his chest, his lips taking mine in a loving heart touching kiss that calms my soul.

“No, my Angel, thank you for being mine!”

HALDOR 12

It has been a week since I told Druza that everything she thought was her life, was a lie. She has been withdrawn, pensive, which worries me. I have decided to resort to drastic measures to get her out of her shell. I thought that all the things I bought her would somehow lift her mood, but I was quickly disabused of that notion when I realized that she doesn’t care about material stuff, which in a way pleased me.

“Are you sure about this?” Nova’s question has my thoughts coming back to the present. Nova is my drastic measure, if anyone can take Druza’s thoughts away from everything that has happened, then Nova is the person. Her amused expression has me hesitating, I might be asking for trouble getting Nova involved, but I am without options.

“Yes, but don’t destroy anything or Tor will have my balls when he gets back.” Nova laughs at my condition, but I am serious. Apparently, Tor’s mate is going to be discharged tomorrow from the hospital and we are all guessing that he will be bringing her here. Since the incident with the journalist things have been spiraling. There have been two more journalists that have tried to talk to us, and now we have a group of crazy alien fanatics parked outside our gates.

Ceric has called a meeting, which tells me that Draco is now aware of what is happening, and he wants someone’s head. The other Elemental motorcycle chapters have been plagued with the same, the JHB Chapter has even had a crazy fool trying to bomb their club house.

I don’t think we are going to be able to cover up this time, every day it seems like there are more and more videos being uploaded. Videos that none of us were aware of, but that people from all over are uploading onto the web that have seen something strange but were too unsure to post. The articles that have been written have incited those people to come forward, which has opened up a pit full of problems for us.

“I’m serious,” I insist knowing that Nova will do as she pleases by ignoring anything I say, but if she can get Druza out of her head, I will happily take the blame.

“Don’t worry,” she says with a smile which just makes me worry more, maybe I shouldn’t have asked her for help.

“Nova…” before I can continue, she turns waving her hand in the air.

“It will be fine, you will see.” She says hurrying into the club.

“Fuck,” I mutter as I follow her inside to make my way to the meeting, if this meeting wasn’t urgent, I would go after her and make her tell me her plan.

“This isn’t good,” Dane says as he joins me just as I am opening the door to enter the meeting room. As one of the oldest members from the main chapter Ceric will be in charge until Tor’s return. Sometimes others don’t take Ceric seriously because of his daredevil personality, but for those of us that have had the honor of fighting next to him and have come to know him more, it is an honor to be able to fight with him and have him on our side.

“You fuckers are late,” he reprimands as we walk in, “Draco is going to phone in, he is not in a mood to be played with.” I was already dreading this meeting, to know that the Elementals President is going to phone into our meeting is not a good sign. Draco is one dangerous motherfucker that every single elemental is in awe of. None of us know exactly how powerful he is, but that he has some crazy powers we know he does. He is the oldest Elemental that we know of that is still alive, before he met his mate, we were all weary that one day he would lose his shit and turn dark into a Keres, but thank fuck his mate came along and calmed his darkness.

“As you are all aware things are not looking good, shit is starting to come up that we would all rather it stayed buried.” Ceric explains as he draws his fingers through his hair. “Celmund is finding it more and more difficult to stop all the posts out there. They are starting to identify all of us, which will be a problem for those of us with mates and kids.” The phone that has been placed in the middle of the meeting table rings.

“Draco?” Ceric answers.

“Is everyone there?” Draco asks.

“Except for Tor,” Ceric replies.

“I have spoken to Tor, he is aware of what I’m going to say.” Draco reveals, “you are all aware of what a fuck fest it is out there at the moment, we have been trying to prevent this for centuries, but at the moment things seem to be racing ahead of anything we can do.” There is a pause before he continues.

“All the chapters are going on lockdown from today, if we can’t stop the spread of the news then we will have to make alternative plans. I want all of you on high alert, if one goes down, we all go down. All our clubs are reinforced, it won’t be easy for anyone to breach them, but it won’t be impossible, therefore keep your senses around you at all times. I have ordered all the lone wolfs back into the clubs as we can’t take the chance of anyone being caught out there, doesn’t matter if they are in one of our clubs or not.”

“Will they come?” Tal asks.

“I haven’t given them an option,” Draco states, “this might blow over, or it might break out into a real problem. Either way, we will all stand together no matter what.”

“We will get everyone on rotating schedules of the property,” Ceric suggests.

“Do that now, because I am sending Calius to go and pick you and your family up in the chopper.” Draco orders, “I want you back home today.”

“Fuck Draco, my ride is here.” Ceric complains.
