“A group of witches and two ghosts? Let’s hope not, but hey, what could go wrong?” Faith said.

“Well, everything now you’ve said that,” Nana said. “I know I taught you better.”

“Sometimes I just have this urge to curse things,” Faith said and got a grunt from her grandmother. She waited until Nana’s back was turned before rolling her eyes.

Faith caught True just as she turned around to head back to the bar after delivering drinks to a table. “Hey,” True said.

“We have a thing,” Faith said.

“We have a thing, or you have a thing, because if it’s your thing, I don’t think I want it,” True said with a teasing smile.

“What’s up?” Hope asked when True motioned her over.

“Apparently, Faith has a thing,” True said.

“I don’t have a thing; Nana has a thing,” Faith said.

True scowled. “Oh, a Nana thing; I definitely don’t want it.”

“Another ghost,” Faith whispered and eyed the area around them, checking for anyone who could have overheard.

“You know you are supposed to lookbeforeyou say something witchy, right?” Hope asked, chuckling.

“Who cares?” True said, pointing to her sister. “Another ghost?”

“Yep.” Faith nodded.

“Here?” True asked, pointing to the floor.

“On the ship,” Faith said.

“Then let it stay on the ship,” True said, about to turn away when Faith grabbed her arm, keeping her in place. “Hey!”

“It’s the ghost’s kid,” Faith explained, and True yanked her arm away and her head back on her neck.

“There’s a ghost child on the ship?” she asked.

Hope frowned. “That’s kind of sad,” she said, elbowing True to agree with her.

“Yeah,” True said, grimacing.

“Oh, you are heartless,” Faith said, mocking her sister.

“Me?” True said, raising her eyebrows in surprise.

“It’s a child,” Faith said, making her feel enough shame that she grimaced again.

“Fine,” True bit out begrudgingly. “Does she want to take the child to the guesthouse as well?” she bit out with a big dollop of sarcasm.

“Yes.”

“Huh?” True said. “I was joking,” she hissed with annoyance. “Why can’t she just stuff the ghost back on the ship?”

“The ghost,Sebastian,” Faith said with a knowing smile. “Just needs to be reunited with his daughter,Verity.”

“And how do we know their names?” Hope asked.
