CHAPTER

Lily

When I woke up, I couldfeel the warmth that surrounded my body from Vance and Brice, and I instantly felt relieved that it was all just a nightmare. That was until I opened my eyes and the pain in my head began to throb as I took in my surroundings. Shooting straight up in a bed I know wasn't mine, I found that it was my nightmare that had his arms wrapped around me, now grinning back at me. “How are you feeling, my pet?” Trying to get out of the bed, he grabbed a hold of my

arm, holding me firm in my spot. “Where do you think you're going?”

“I want you to take me home right now before Vance and Brice find you and kill you for taking me.”

He only laughed at my words. “Do you have any idea just how cute you are when you try to play all rough and tough? My little kitten, the things I'm going to do to you, mmm.” When he moved to brush the hair off my face, I instinctively pulled back and the change in his demeanor was instant. Grabbing my chin, rough enough that I knew it was going to leave a bruise, he pulled my face in closer to his. “Every time you pull away or disobey me my pet, you will be punished... and you really don't want to know what that will feel like on your beautiful skin, consider this your last warning.” Kissing me chastely on the lips, he released my face and got up. “Now, I want you to take a shower and freshen up. I've left you your dinner attire in the changing room,” he pointed to a large closet next to the bathroom. “You have one hour to be downstairs and at my feet, pet.” Walking toward the door, he opened it and looked over his shoulder. “Do not attempt to escape. You won't make it past the front door. This place is very well guarded, I assure you. And Lillian, don't make me have to come back and fetch you, I will see it as an act of disobedience, and you will be punished severely for it.” With that warning he was gone, the door shutting behind him.

All that went through my head was the words at my feet. I made my way to the en suite bathroom and turned the water on in the shower to warm up. Taking that time, I began to look around at my surroundings and noticed that it looked like it had been built for a princess with all its beautiful white and pale pink colors. It even had a canopy bed and a beautiful vanity desk.

Moving back into the bathroom, I shut the door and locked it before disrobing and getting into the shower, letting the water wash over my skin. Choosing the lavender smelling body wash, out of the ten different ones he had in here, I tried to scrub the filth off that his touch had left on my body.

Once I was out of the shower, I dried off and peeked outside the door to make sure that I was still alone before I headed to the closet where he’d left me some clothes. A pale rose colored plush cushion sat in the middle of the closet with a white dress laying over it. Picking up the dress to look at it, I could see that it was a simple no-waisted V-neck silk dress that stopped at about knee length. Looking around the area for underwear or a bra, I began to open every drawer I could find in the closet but didn't see any. “Figures,” I mumbled to myself as I went back into the bathroom to retrieve the pale blue colored set I had on earlier, turning my underwear inside out when I put them back on. Dressed, I took a deep breath and tried to think of a way I could talk Gustavo out of this whole thing. He knew my father, maybe I could use that to talk him into letting me go. Opening the door and peeking outside, I was greeted by a large man dressed in all black holding a large gun in front of him. Hearing the door open, he looked down at me a smirk that made its way across his face. “Hello, Miss.”

“Hi.” Was all I could squeak out as I walked out of the room.

He stretched his arm out to the right in a sweeping motion. “This way. Mr. Carbone is waiting for you in the dinning room.”

Moving slowly in the direction he'd pointed, I stopped mid-stride and turned to face him. “So if I asked you to help me get out of here I suppose you'd say no, huh?”

Crowding me, he looked down at me. “You are not my property, so that is not my decision to make. And if I were you, I would watch every move you make around Mr. Carbone. He can be very... cruel with his punishments.” Leaning even closer to me he added. “And I know this because he asks me to carry some of them out.” Pointing towards the stairs again he gave only one word. “Move.”

He guided me downstairs and into the dinning room but grabbed a hold of my shoulder to stop me just before I entered it. Looking back at him with confusion, he leaned down again and whispered in my ear. “You do not ever walk into this dinning room without seeking permission first. And then once you've been granted entry, you will only enter on your hands and knees.”

Looking at him like an alien had just popped out of his head, I questioned in disbelief. “You can't be serious?”

“Very. But if you don't believe me, go ahead and enter that dinning room on your feet and see what happens.”

Getting our attention, Gustavo walked in from a side door, not even acknowledging my existence, as an older, gray haired woman walked in from what I'd guessed to be the kitchen setting down only one plate and one set of silverware, then the food around it. Not once did she make eye contact with Gustavo or anyone else in the room. Once she was done, she just stood at his side with her hands folded in front of her and her head bowed.

Surveying the table, he looked over to the woman. “You're excused.” She scurried away as fast as possible. Turning to look at me, he just waited for a few moments and then looked down at his watch. “You're running out of time, my pet.”

Not understanding what he's talking about, the big man behind me bumped me forward. “Remember what I said.”

Turning my attention back to Gustavo, I tried to rein in my anger and the humiliation this whole situation is causing me. I needed to realize that I wouldn't be able to escape if I were injured. So I took a deep breath and sucked down my pride. “May I come in?”

“Hmm, I think you're forgetting something on the end of that question, my pet,” he admonished, looking at me like he was

bored already.

“I-I don't know what else I'm supposed to say.” I told him, shrugging my shoulders.

Getting up, he dismissed the man behind me and stalked towards me until he was crowding my personal space, towering over me. When he reached out to brush his hand over my cheek it took every ounce of strength I had to not flinch away from his touch. Leaning in closer he rubbed his nose over the same area, breathing me in as bile churned in my stomach. “Mm, lavender how did you know it was my favorite?”

“I didn't.” I snapped, regretting it the moment I did.

He let out a sigh. “You try my patience, pet. Do you really want me to punish you that badly?”

“No.” Was all I answered, knowing anymore would land me in more hot water than I was already in.

“Good, now back to what we were talking about earlier then.” He seemed to brush off what he saw as my defiance towards him. “When you address me at any time you will call me Master.”

Trying to school all my verbal and physical reactions, I just glared at him, unable to get my eyes to hide my true feelings. “Wait what?” I mumbled to myself at the spark of a memory how I was in the past.
