Hearing my cell phonering, I looked down at the display to see that it had been just who I was waiting for. "Well just the man I was wanting to talk to. How's everything coming on your end?"
"Things are progressing very nicely."
"Good, good. No one suspects that it was me that put the order out on Watson's life?"
"No, actually they’re looking in the direction of possible terrorism."
Chuckling to myself, I told him. "Ever since 9/11 they always go straight to terrorism. It's almost a blessing in disguise for us. What about his daughter?"
"She hasn't left her penthouse all night. She did however make a call to someone, though, it ran almost fifteen minutes long."
"Do we know who it was?"
"I'm working on that now, but the number she called is an unlisted one so it's going to take me a minute to get that information."
"Well get it quick, I want to know what she's doing every second of the day and who she's talking to. If I had to take a guess myself at who she called, I would say it was Jensen. She's always been in love with that asshole. In fact, call our contact in Wyoming and have them check on his whereabouts’. Make sure our boy is still sitting tight and keeping his nose out of our business."
"Will do. Were you able to get in contact with Pablo's brother?"
Remembering the conversation I had with Luciano Sanchez about the revenge he was seeking, and that he was willing to work with me to get it, I smiled to myself. "Actually, yes, I did, and everything went smooth with him. He’s fully on board with us and willing to help out in anyway he can. Seems he's plotting his own revenge against Jensen, Black Spade Securities, and Special Agent Larson for the death of his brother. So he's going to come in quite handy for what I've got planned."
"I will call you then as soon as I hear from our contact about Jensen, and when I have more information on the unlisted number."
Disconnecting the call, I sat back in my chair, wondering just how much of a problem it was going to make for me if Jensen did decide to get involved in Keira's life again.
"That boys’ heart is going to get him killed." I muttered to myself.
