“Good to know,” he said. “I think I’m glad I didn’t know you were thinking this. I might not have been able to get through the day.”

She grabbed his hand and pulled him to the couch. He placed the condom that she’d had in her pocket on the coffee table.

“We can be like kids,” she said. “Trying to get a quickie in.”

He reached for her and yanked her against his chest. He had a burning inside of him right now that had to come out.

His mouth crushed against hers, their hips grinding, the two of them dancing around until he had her on her back and him on top of her.

One hand grabbed the material in his fist and lifted it up, his fingers now on bare skin.

“You’re always so soft,” he said.

“You’re always hot,” she said.

He laughed. He wasn’t sure what she meant by that. If he was attractive or had a lot of body heat. She’d said both before.

His finger found the rim of her panties, slid under and discovered her dripping wet. He was going to lose it soon, he was sure.

“You’re ready,” he said.

“I think I’ve been this way or on the edge all day.”

He would have been if he’d known.

She lifted her hips and he slid her underwear off. He reached for the condom, unbuttoned his pants, freed his dick and rolled it on one handed.

He had no time to think of anything else before he plunged into her, his mouth covering her gasp.

Their hips were lifting and retreating, their mouths just as frantic.

It was two minutes tops before she was coming and moaning and he was right behind her.

They were both out of breath and panting, his body dropping down. He’d felt like a pretzel trying to fit on the small loveseat, but that was probably the fun of it.

“Damn,” he said. “I’m going to have a hard time concentrating in here now.”

“I didn’t think I could do that,” she said. “In the past, I’d be afraid of getting caught. Maybe that added to the thrill of it some.”

He got up and took care of the condom, putting it in the bag with their garbage from dinner that he’d take out with him. No reason to leave the evidence in the office.

“Sometimes it’s nice to conquer our fears,” he said.

She stood up and straightened her cotton dress which now had a lot of wrinkles in it. Good thing they were leaving and she had her jacket with her to cover it. Otherwise he was sure she’d be embarrassed to walk out looking as if they just had sex.

He wasn’t embarrassed in the least.

He only loved her more for feeling like she could do things with him that she hadn’t done before.

Fear Of Failure

Five weeks later, Roni was making lunch for Trent.

Eli was with Jeff for the weekend. Her son knew she was dating Trent. Trent had come over twice in the past five weeks on the weekend or taken them out to dinner during the week.

It was slow, but it was moving enough that she was positive her son was comfortable with her boyfriend.
