Kizzie sat back and rested her hand on her round belly. A giggle spilled from her lips. By her calculations, she had returned from Cleveland with more than a new husband.

They had created a little bundle of joy.

Their son was due to make his appearance in just over a month. Kizzie was impatient and couldn’t wait to meet her tiny man. Niko was the anxious first-time father. Their boy wasn’t even here yet, and he’d already baby-proofed the house, upped security around their home, and read every parenting book he could get his hands on.

Kizzie was confident he was going to make a great father.

Glancing down at her desk, she took in the numbers she had just run. She needed to review them with him before she signed off on the latest purchases for the shop. She would show Will, but he was out with a realtor, searching for a new building for the second shop they were going to be opening.

Pushing back from her desk, she walked over to her door and opened it. She waddled her way through it and went on the hunt for her husband. She could have been lazy and used the overhead speaker, but she needed to get up and walk. Sitting in a chair all day wasn’t good for her back.

“Hey, Kizzie!” Solomon, one of the young apprentices, waved to her. He was mopping the floor around one of the empty workstations. It was very important to Will and Niko to take in young kids and help them find a trade.

“Morning, Solomon.” She waved at him and paused near him.

He was a good kid and would make a great mechanic one day. He was being raised by a single mother who had two jobs. Precision Motors kept this kid off the street on the weekends and after school. Solomon practically lived here and thrived here.

“Have you seen my husband?”

“Last I saw, he was working on bay seven.”

“Thank you!” She spun on her heel headed toward the back of the shop. The baby chose that moment to give her a real good kick. She grimaced and rubbed the area with her hand. She arrived at bay seven where a large monster of a bike sat. Her breath caught in her throat at the sight of Niko standing next to it. His great Precision Motors t-shirt molded to his perfectly sculpted chest and put his tattooed arms on full display. Her gaze slid down and took in his jeans and boots.

He glanced up and combed a hand through his dark hair. It was slightly longer than he usually kept it. She had no complaints with it.

Her man was downright sexy.

Her core clenched, and she immediately grew aroused.

“What’s wrong?” Niko frowned. His gaze homed in on her hand resting on her stomach.

She removed it immediately and gave a short laugh.

“Nothing. The baby just kicked really hard,” she said.

She felt breathless as she made her way over to him. This sexy man was hers forever. She smiled and stopped next to him. He reached out and cupped her swollen belly. His strong hands gently rubbed it. She inhaled sharply at his touch.

She had read that many women didn’t want their partners touching them this late in their pregnancy. Kizzie was the complete opposite. She was hornier than ever. She craved Niko’s touch.

“Are you working too hard?” he asked.

“What?” She choked back a laugh. Her husband was extremely protective of her. He wouldn’t hesitate in sending her home if he thought she was overdoing it. She rose on her tiptoes and kissed his chin. “I’m fine. I was coming to find you. I need your approval on the order I’m about to place.”

“I’m sure it will be fine. Just order whatever you think we need.” He cupped her cheeks and dropped a kiss on her forehead.

She leaned into him, resting her hands on his waist. She was appreciative that he had put his full trust in her, but she was still a relatively new employee and needed to double-check things.

“Niko,” she whispered.

A few of the other mechanics were nearby, working. Her belly pressed into his as she tried to get closer to him. His gaze narrowed on her, and she was sure he was picking up on her vibe.

“You said when I need you, to come find you so you can help me.”

She winked at him. The corner of his lip went up slightly. He got her point. He looked around before taking her by the hand.

“So you need me to review the order?” he asked nonchalantly.

They ambled through the shop as if it were any other day. Inside, Kizzie was burning up. She wanted to drag her man behind her and toss him in her office.
