This woman was his everything, and she had just agreed to spend the rest of her life with him.

Alana made quick work of getting him out of his pants. Her lips wrapped around his cock and his head fell back.

He bit back a groan and allowed his fiancée to have her wicked way with him.

One Year Later

“What’s wrong with you?” Alana spun around to see Sofie storming into the kitchen, pissed.

Time had flown by. Alana couldn’t believe it had been a year since London had proposed to her. They hadn’t wasted time in throwing together a small wedding with close family and friends.

Today, they were grilling out, and invited Jaxon and Sofie over to watch Khalil and his team play. They were in the finals, and it was exciting. The game was in Los Angeles, and they opted to stay home. They had been to all the games in Cleveland. The next two games would be in town. If Cleveland won tonight’s game, and the next, they would win the championship.

“What is it now?” Alana rolled her eyes and moved to the fridge to pull out the potato salad she had made and set it on the counter.

“He won’t let me hold the baby. He said it’s not my turn.” Sofie leaned against the counter and folded her arms in front of her. If it were possible, daggers would be shooting out of her eyes.

Alana laughed. She couldn’t help it. Anyone with eyes could see the sexual tension between Jaxon and Sofie. They hated each other, yet they couldn’t stop eye fucking each other.

“Y’all just need to get it over with,” Alana murmured. Pulling a serving spoon out of the drawer, she paused to stare at her sputtering friend.

“You think I should sleep with him? He’s an arrogant ass who thinks he’s God’s gift to women. I refuse to be another notch on his belt.”

“I’m sure a woman like you could tame him.” Alana loved her brother-in-law. He and Sofie were Chance’s godparents. Her son was six months old, and already had them wrapped around his little finger. Jaxon and Sofie were butting heads constantly, and it was only a matter of time until that sexual tension exploded.

She couldn’t wait for that moment.

It was going to be hilarious.

“I don’t think there’s any cure for that man,” Sofie huffed, her eyes drifting back toward the patio where Jaxon sat at the table with Chance secured to his chest. The doting uncle was obviously smitten with his nephew.

“Let’s eat. The game is coming on soon, and London isn’t going to want to miss it.”

Everything had been perfect. She had met and fell in love with London’s parents, and she and his mother were now really good friends. They were coming up in a couple of days so they could spend some time with their grandson.

“What else do you need carried outside?” Sofie asked.

“Grab a couple more beers for the guys.”

They headed back outside, where London and Jaxon were deep in conversation. Their company had grown. With London’s income, and the arrival of the baby, she had put in notice at her job that she wouldn’t be returning after the birth of her child, opting to stay at home. It was the best decision she could have made.

She was in the midst of getting her own consulting business off the ground. She’d be able to work for herself at home, and have all the time she wanted with her family.

Alana set the salad on the table with the other items before taking the seat next to her husband.

“Hey, baby.” Taking her hand, he pressed a kiss to the back of it. He had on dark aviator glasses, and she couldn’t see his eyes. The man still made her heart flutter with one touch.

“Hey.”

Sofie sat back, sipping on her drink. “Alana, remember our nickname for London?”

Alana’s head whipped around to her friend, her eyes wide in disbelief.

Had her friend lost her marbles?

“Nickname?” London’s eyebrows rose to his hairline as he squeezed her hand. “This, I’ve got to hear.”

“I’m sure you don’t want to hear it.” She chuckled and turned back to Sofie, trying to give her a death glare. But apparently, her friend didn’t see it, or chose to ignore it.
